The chorus of Cry of David was a spontaneous chorus that we sat on and sung for years based on the Psalm 27, central theme of Jesus as our ‘one thing’. Psalm 27 is a life passage, if not the life passage that we forever want to study, sing about, teach on, pray over ourselves, and live in.
As we seek The Lord, He is faithful to be found, when we knock, He opens the door, and behind that door of encounter is endless beauty and eternal fascination. Just like the creatures in heaven whose worship never ceases, as they see new, ever unraveling sides to His Majesty, what a privilege it is that we get to create our own history of worship and discovery on this side of eternity. Jesus made a way for us to experience the glory of our Father. He is a generous giver, and in fact Is more willing than we are hungry. Our prayer is that His glory would be released and hungry hearts would be marked for “one thing”.
