Bottega is ok .. not all bags are great quality . Andiamo is very well made . But if you see their low end bags leather is paper thin .. and the weaves are not finished on sides and really shows wear quickly Also aftercare is only for certain bags and only when bought from boutique . Not on other websites or from departmental stores

Loewe is a good bag but I think it’s hype is way too much for what it is It is a good practical bag but nothing great .. and there are so many fakes ..

I went to Casa Loewe in Madrid and tried the OG puzzle and the edge puzzle. If I didn’t know about the history and the behind the scenes purposes of the design change, I wouldn’t have such a strong stance. My gripe with the puzzle og vs the edge is that the edge was very clearly a design to cut on the manufacturing costs of the OG. If the cost of production is lower, I would expect the market price to be lower as well but that’s just not the case. If I’m paying $3000 for a bag and the functionality is the same, quality is the same and the design is similar enough, I’d want the one that cost more to make.

I just bought the medium in fondant too. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bag. Its amazing

I have a Puzzle and Puzzle Edge. It's my favorite luxury bag, with the exception of a Birkin and Kelly, which I can't afford. I like the original Puzzle better. It's more detailed and luxe.

I have an original puzzle and love it but also like the look of the edge. I want to get another puzzle (because I love mine and use it so much) and I am so fine with it being an edge. I actually like it more that they will be same-same but different. I don’t necessarily want two identical bags. I think I am in the minority though.

I agree totally - many bag charms are not doing anything good for the expensive bags.

I definitely agree with you about the charms on the handbags. We probably were twins in another life lol, because that is exactly what I said about accessorizing outfits and handbags. IMHO, accessories should add that oomph, elegance and classiness to your outfit or handbag, not make it look cheap and tacky looking. No offense to the ladies that love the charms, but that’s definitely a no for me 😅. As per the luxury lead brand BV, I haven’t yet own a handbag or anything from them, but in other brand’s defense like Chanel and other top brands, they were massively attacked and robbed this year and last year, but I didn’t hear BV having any impact on them? Maybe that is why these other brands feel the need to lock up bags while showing them to their clients? I am glad to know you had a great service experience with them, I have two bags on my wishlist ❤😂

I wrote a super long comment last night but I don't think it posted! The Loewe Puzzle tote is a no-go, especially if you're flying. All your stuff can spill out on ascent/descent; I've literally seen someone's laptop slide a few rows away. Also, your laptop would bisect the tote, leaving limited space on either side. I love LV's Fastline line (which is the men's range) and tried them last weekend. The tote is really, really big and only comes in that colorway this season. The monochrome logo against the Aerogram is really nice though if you're going for a more minimalist look. If you're precious about your bags, I don't recommend a BV intrecciato weave bag either. You'll want to have the weave face up, so it won't really be a throw-around bag, especially below your seat or in the overhead. Have you looked at the Aspinal of London London tote? I always get complimented on it traveling through LAX and SFO. It can get a little heavy, but it's a horizontal tote with generous pockets (one zip) and magnetic closure. It's great. I also recommend the YSL sac du jour. Finally, I recommend shopping on 24s, which is a licensed LVMH site. You see sort by bags across their portfolio and more (be sure to look under men's AND women's) and they always have sales. It's probably the most valuable tip I have for you.

The LV Low Key line also has a more Tote Style option with the adjustable straps that release after the Hobo, that might actually be exactly what you want 💕👍🏽!

If you’re in need of something on the cheaper but very good quality side, I’d recommend cuyana!

For a work bag, I love the caramel brown colored Celine that closes really securely. However, the idea of taking this to Singapore makes my heart hurt. It might get damaged. So while I think that would be an amazing work tote I suggest for a travel tote you get a Longchamp pillage tote in coated canvas. This is what I used for my trip all over Asia and it looks nicer than the nylon tote but it’s super light super durable. I have used it for two years for work and also for my trip and it still looks brand new and it’s like $300 so maybe get two bags.

The LV “On the Go” in either the GM or MM size, in empreinte leather, is a workhorse of a tote bag. Yes, it has the LV monogram all over the tote, but if you get it in the single-colored leather (like black or turtle dove), it’s really not that eye-catching or “in your face”. I also love that it has the two different handles/straps - the shoulder straps which can be tucked into the bag when not using, and the top-handle/crook of the arm handles which flap down onto the side of the bag when not using. LV really thought about functionality when making this tote! Both Celine bags you showed are beautiful, but I’m not so sure they would carry a laptop, planner, etc comfortably (or even in an aesthetically pleasing way). Although I love Loewe, I don’t know how that tote would look with a laptop in it - and that goes for the other bags you mentioned that have a similar shape/style to the Loewe tote - the softness and unstructured nature of those bags would give a sloppy appearance once you start putting heavy items in them. I feel like you need a tote bag with a structured base, if you want to carry a laptop and other heavy items comfortably, while still looking fashionable and put-together. Good luck in your search - can’t wait to see what you pick!

I like the Loewe or Chanel! Excited to see what you add! I use the Goyard Artois and love it, but it may be a little logo heavy for you (though in some of the neutral colors, I think it looks less so)!

Go with the Loewe. I have it, and it's made for everyday use/travel/office. haha

I really like the Loewe Puzzle Tote. Another bag to consider is the Loewe Flamenco in Large size. The leather on that bag is so soft and beautiful.

Dior uses sweatshops and their embroidered totes literally cost them $50 to make. Do you really think people are going to forget this in one year? I think people are smarter than that and realize that they are paying for a label and the lux market us using cheaper materials. Channel doesn't even gold plate their hardware. Why on earth would I pay for that?

I am a bit doubtful . Because Dior has been hit seriously by the 53€ price scandal and sales have dropped down so badly And the miss dior collection is one of the worst collections so far .. Might take a few years for them to come back (provided no more scandals )

One VERY important note I forgot to include in the video: With my prediction that Dior is going to have a major resurgence and become incredibly popular, I also think their prices will likely increase too. So now is the perfect time to stock up on any Dior items you've been eyeing (whether new or preloved); I really think they'll be a better price now, than they will in six months to a year!
