thank you! I was looking to create a travel notebook from postcards I got whilst abroad recently and this is exactly what I needed!

This is what I have been look for, I have 5 ( 8.5x11) books with 300 pages or so and I was looking for a way to do it, they are in plastic binders now but I want to bind them in a leather journal type book, one of them is going to be a Geneva Bible that I downloaded

Oh, I didn't know that I needed a new binding technique. I know exactly what journal I am going to give this a try on and I want to go start it RIGHT NOW! LOL

Love it all, new to thos process, first batch ok. But I believe I needed to add more of glue mix to top !? AND WAX PAPER DOES NOT WORK,! so thanx for new idea !! I have same napkins too !! 😂 like having a short and to the point video THANX A MILLION 🎉❤

I literally just put my first journal together on the fly for a 7 yr old to play on on her plane ride to see her mom. And I somehow instinctively figured this out without any help. I didn’t have time 🤣. I’ve found when resources and time are limited you may just figure out how to get back to the future 🤣🤣🤣 Great video.i also made her lots of pockets using envelopes and gift bags to load it with stickers and extra tidbits to play with

What is the best way to adhere the rice paper to tags ? Have you tried it adhering to canvas?🤔

the glue ratio is 2 glue 1 water and coffee or tea if you want an antique look :)

Hi A little tiny dab of super glue on those nots will keep them from coming undone.

I've just come across your channel and thought I'd share an idea with you. I used two cardboard surrounds used in picture framing and made a frame sticking my rice paper picture between the two. When completely dry I used acrylic spray varnish over the whole thing and hung it in my window as a sun catcher. With the sun coming through that 'picture' it looks beautiful. Hope you give it a try. Xx

Could you use matt medium instead of glue?

Love this tutorial, super helpful! I am working on a bigger project with lots of pages, and I was wondering if you had any tips on thread length when binding many pages?

To stop the shine on the back you could hang it on them skirt hangers, I make silk flowers and I have to stiffen my silk with polyvinyl alcohol basically pure pva once the crystals have been melted down with water it's a clear liquid. I hang my silk that way then it can be ironed afterwards. I've also stiffened coffee filters the same way and hung them on my washing line. It stops the shine by hanging it up. I have my daughters save all there bra and knickers hangers with clips on too haha. Just thought you might want to try it. I love the video by the way I will definitely try this and maybe make a napkin flower who knows.
