Stok Kangri is the highest peak in the Stok Range of the Himalaya in northern India. Standing at 6,153m altitude, the summit ridge is challenging especially in winter conditions. This was last season. I was there two weeks ago, but too much avalanche risk to summit. As far as I know the cross is still there…???
In September 2023, the cross was lowered for restoration.

Be careful where you park your car in Snowdonia EVEN IF YOU ARE LOCAL as several cars have been vandalised this week. One walkers car at Capel Curig had all its windows broken and a couple at Ganllwyd were badly scratched. Another walkers car parked on a grass verge was "accidentally" run into by a tractor just yesterday.
Well done Jamie. That’s another one added to my list of mountains I want to do 😂
