I did not lock up at all. It's a clear defense because the driver behind could clearly identify which line I was taking, which is why he committed to the outside. If you look at the line that I took, I'm headed in the right direction in the corner. If we had more road then the driver behind would have been fine, but because he wasn't far enough along side me to make a claim for the corner, he should have lifted and backed out.

It's just simply a racing incident.

@@maleakracing your driving and response made me assume you’re a sub 2k driver and I was right. I’m not gonna argue long but you can clearly see the yellow lockup lights indicate a right front wheel lockup which leads to you being a meter off the apex, so unless that was also on purpose then I don’t know what to tell you. You’re saying that other guy wasn’t far enough alongside or whatever but it’s your luck because you wouldn’t have been able to hold the inside line and he’d have rightfully spun you. So yeah if Mr. 1.4k could stop behaving like he’s hot shit and stand down that would be great.

​@@maleakracing some people understand the rules of racing and the etiquette involved. You don't. So you might be having a great racing causing others to crash because of you not being predictable. All it will result in is you getting reported for unsportsmanlike behavior

Respectfully I don't know how long you've been racing so I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt. You are infact allowed to weave in the straights. As long as the car behind is not within striking distance which would in fact be blocking. You must also not be weaving into the corner. Which I was not. I had a declared line going into the corner which I took. The driver behind simply got on the throttle to early without slowing down enough to avoid the off track. So he spun. There was no contact at all.

Before you embarrass yourself even more, Watch about 60 seconds of a gr3 race and tell me you can't weave on the straight. Cheers

You don't know the rules of racing. The Porsche had a wheel overlapping so therefore the OP has to give space as the other car is "along side". Instead. OP shut the door on them which is incorrect

I stopped weaving well before him and I needed to break for the corner. All I did was break the tow. I committed to a line and followed it. It’s clean racing.

@@maleakracing you can move to break a tow but you are physically weaving down the strait, which I don’t think is legal in almost any series. Clean racing would be making an attempt to break tow to the right and holding you’re line in defence

Dont wave on straights, its that easy

You are allowed to weave on the straights, just not in the braking zone. He left plenty of space for the car behind to go around the outside

You also didn't leave a cars width once he was alongside you, so he had to either go off track or brake (not break) to avoid contact, because you were squeezing him beyond track limits. No idea about sim racing but in real life you would be in big trouble for that move.

He’s not far enough alongside me for it to be considered a squeeze. Since I braked late, his opportunity to pass would have been to break harder in order to setup a better pass to my outside for the following turn. He would have had inside leverage heading into the turn after that. I also didn’t touch him so he spun on his own.

He didn’t squeeze him at all he gave him the outside and the dude lost it on entry

@@maleakracing U missed the apex by a mile my friend. Its unpredictable. If he wanted to stay on the outside he would brake harder and get off the track. He didnt even try actually. But u squeezed him off by missing the corner. 1.2k logic dude
