Haslab failed with the trap electronics...did ok with the PKE meter,..but truly failed with the trap. Him saying he doesn't have the Matty trap helps me understand why he thinks the Haslab is acceptable. Haslab was lazy with what they did electronically. I have both and it's ridiculous to me a 12 year old Matty trap has better electronic features than the Haslab. Haslab wins with the PKE meter, they win with the exterior look and weight of both the items. Matty win hands down with the electronics of their trap. Haslab should've taken everything Matty did....improved on it, and then added their own stuff on top. Nope...what did they do....focus mostly on exterior looks and.....thee end. Fails on the Haslab trap. No two stage trap close like Matty. The rumble motor is garbage just like in the proton pack (they obviously didn't learn s$&@ from that). The LED's should have been way brighter or adjustable. There's no ghost trying to get out the trap sync'd with lights and A QUALITY RUMBLE MOTER like the Matty trap. No inside port to easily trigger a smoke effect device. The ghost sounds are lazy.

The Afterlife/FE trap pedals are mounted to a padded riser, which accounts for the additional thickness of the HasLab base. It's simplified into a single block, but the height is pretty correct. The proportions of the project boxes (especially the one on the left) are likewise inaccurate to GB1/GB2, but accurate to Afterlife/FE. Like the oversized wheels and huge teardrop dial, these details are modeled after the scans they made of the Afterlife props.

I’m curious about the extent of the mods to your Spirit PKE!

I own the Matty PKE and this PKE and the hasbro one is by far better its heavier and has better wing movement, also matty sounds on the pke are bad

Almost sad to see the "Cursed Pack" go; I was hoping the best for it 😅 Building my own Q-Pack right now, and habe been for a while (in PETG, not PLA) - no idea how the original seller ever thought he could turn this aroind in such a short timeframe. Great job! Love seeing it finished (externally at least) I would definitely recommend going with the Throwingchicken thrower. I got one for my pack and it is 100 percent worth it.

Great review. I’d like to buy an ‘84 wand but I’m pretty persnickety so I’m glad you went in to such detail. For a first time collector, what would you recommend buying or waiting for? Im not against DIY if it would make a significant difference in end result. Thanks!

I'm the same hence why I bought a ninja tunes electronics kit. The pulse rifle I made some dude smarter than me made the electronics kit. I wasn't being rude but there are premade electronics to drop into these.

4DX is the only way to go!! Hell Top Gun Maverick introduced me to it and i wont go back... From that first crack of lightning in FE it made the movie just a little more interesting!

There is noway your pack structure has anything to do with the electronics you're using not working. I'm not an expert but watching one of your earlier videos on your pack you seemed to be listening to the wrong sources imo. Maybe its time to listen to other info on how to build or finish a proton pack? Prop maker illuminati? I've found nothing but help and info thats legit on the qpack facebook chats. What electronics are you using? I totally agree about Frozen empire was actually disappointed in it tbh and think Afterlife is was better.

Awesome video dude. I'm in the U.K and I have a faulty Spengler wand with the dodgy colours in the barrel. So I picked up this 84 one yesterday, and I have all the same problems with it that you have. I'm literally about to paint mine. I also bought a new Spengler wand for cheap on ebay last night too lol.

I agree about GBfans. They charge a tad more but its less research and footwork to find what you need. They literally tell you how much of each color tubing you need for example.

I actually made my brother a resin print of that Han blaster for this past xmas. lol

You got that at Walmart? I been with Walmart for 25 years and never saw a ghostbusters trap in the stores yours looks way better 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻and the Walmart you got that from was probably way better then what we have around here
