Have you posted the rest of the album?
No. Do you have any requests?
AWESOME! Love this. Exactly my type of jazz (I'm KC based and go the Mutual Musician's Foundation and other Jazz bars when I can).
GORGEOUS Lorez 🎙️ great Wynton Kelly on pnana 🎹
JR モンテローザ🎷🎶相性が良いみたいですねぇ~リラックスして聴けるライヴの名盤🎺🎶
I got up to turn the record over !
The perfect sound to wake up to.

Red Garland Trio with Paul Chambers best piano trio Eva Frank.
LB sucks va patients.
Guitar Forms 🎸
This album is rarely talked about (if not ever) and I think it is very unfair. Firstly because of the quality of the album itself and secondly because it was actually an album with a certain transcendence. The truth is that on this album a series of songs appear for the first time in a jazz version that immediately after became widely played and recorded jazz standards, mainly, "Alice in Wonderland", "Someday My Prince Will Come" and to a lesser extent "When You Wish Upon a Star".
어떤 노래인지는 몰라도 자장가로 좋네요
그린 슬리브스는 영국 민요입니다♪
@kh1958-9 감사합니다
We LOVE hearing our father, Elvin Jones, on this gorgeous recording!
❤
I was born and raised in Pontiac, MI and I usta walk by your family home on Bagley street on my way to school every day I also hung out with your cousin Peter, an up and coming drummer, who passed away very early in life. My parents talked of the whole musical family often.
Art was a fantastic saxophone player and jazz musician! “Art Pepper + 11” is also a classic. As is “Art Pepper Meets the Rhythm Section.
IncredibleRecording clarity on the cymbalsEspecially given the age of this recording
Art Peppers was a fabulous jazz artist and altoist. His album,”Art Pepper Meets the Rhythm Section.” Is a classic.
Hear hear!
This stuff cooks!
Just found it's way to my feed. AWESOME!
Canzoni stupende, w il jazz ❤
Brilliant classic music
of course Bird was nonpareil and probably more sophisticated in many ways than Sonny, but just listen to that doubletime on "Lose You." mighty mighty close.
why do I (sometimes) like him better than Bird even though as you can hear he's channeling Bird - Iknow it's heresy but Sonny had a certain just extra hint of swank and swagger
Stan deviated from his usual style. Reminds me of Dexter Gordon.
Спасибо создателю этого замечательного канала за знакомство с такими потрясающими музыкантами.
Спасибо ♪
NICE SOUND NATURAl LY MY SOULE AND BODY MAKE SWING.I SING WITH BIG.SOW HAPPY. THANKS LOTS OF LOVE.
Only Chalie Parker is better alto saxophonist than Art Pepper. He is a genius!
Depends..Charlie commented,"Man that 'Cat" gets down"...
Elvin's energy (Elvin being Elvin) seems to have overwhelmed Stan a little in what may have been the first track or two. But further into the album, Stan rises to the occasion and plays quite powerfully to meet and utilize Elvin's energy. Maybe not the most intuitive matchup, but it produced a successful album imo.
That whole screwing around with Black Eyes, reminds me of some of the goofing around the Beatles did. Great to get that on tape somewhere.
Art Pepper - alto saxophone Russ Freeman - piano Ben Tucker - bass Chuck Flores - drums
I wondered if that was Russ Freeman, thanks!
Thank you
Art Farmer is always beautiful, thanks so much for the upload
Haha, that last track!
love the vinyl sound !
Good stuff.
Smooth, balanced euforia - jazz as its best,
Getz was out of his depth, with Elvin Jones.
McCoy Tyner Plays Ellington was recorded in December 1964 and released on the Impulse! label in 1965. It features performances by Tyner with his John Coltrane bandmates: bassist Jimmy Garrison and drummer Elvin Jones. Percussionists Willie Rodriguez and Johnny Pacheco appear on four of the tracks.
Thank you for the explanation ♪

Fantastic piano. Great drums. Terrific bass. What a tune!
アップ有難うございます。入手困難な音源なので聴けて嬉しいです。
ご丁寧にありがとうございます
”踊り子”は音がいいですね。 とても60年以上前の録音とは思えません。
The recording must have been good, since it was 65 years ago. The jacket featuring the two dancers reading Down Beat magazine is also excellent.
Very nice.I owned this record years ago.Nice to hear it again.
