I just bought a 98 Corolla VE with the 5 speed. Totally tempted to to take the whole stock system off to preserve it incase I sell, and make a set up similar to this. My other car in a JDM Legacy GT-B, so I love the rumble.

Just fyi I drilled put my hole like you did in your seat belt hole and went through to the gas tank.
