Hello! I sold my home in the deep wilderness, way up in the Sierra Nevada mountains, where you can't ski, and there's no gold. I picked a realtor who had recently moved there from LA. He knew nothing about the area, but I did. My home was a stick built, on a foundation, 3 beds, 2 full baths, large garage, and enough land to put another home on the property, in back. I'd bought it for $90,000 in 2001, it was built in 1970, and I sold it in 2004. Homes similar to mine were going for only $60,000 to $110,000 at most. I called the realtor on a Wednesday afternoon to put it up for sale and I told the realtor that my asking price was $180,000. He started stuttutering and in an arrogant tone he sarcastically said that I'd never get that price! (I'm Female, men always demean me, so his comment didn't phase me. I'm used to it.) So, at that very moment he forced me to decide to keep him clueless, and never tell him why I knew I was going to get my asking price, AND get it fast!!! He told me to think about it and call him back on Friday. I did, and I politely told him I was sticking to my asking price. He again spoke very condescendingly to me, and scolded me, and told me I wasn't going to get it! (Sure.) On that Saturday morning he called, all excited, and said I got an offer, but I told him it was too low, and I reminded him that my asking price was firm! On Sunday morning he again called with another offer, but still too low, and I rejected it. On Monday morning I sold my home for exactly what he said I'd NEVER GET! I never told him why I was able to get that high price in the middle of nowhere, with no mail delivery, no nearby hospitals, just ambulance outposts... He didn't deserve to know what the HUGE PLUS was because of his attitude toward me. NO! It had nothing to do with gold, or anything else. It's just that in the 4 years I'd lived up there I learned A LOT from the folks who lived there, and I put it all together. One bit of knowledge, alone, wouldn't 'ave been enough. It was a combination of several small bits of seemingly TRIVIAL information that hit me 1 day. And, none of what you stated in your video is anything that I would've needed to know! So, I see your advice as in no way being useful, or enlightening, at all to someone that's going to sell their home. In fact, I feel you're misleading your audience into spending on services they don't need Also, it's better to sell a house WITH NO FURNITURE AT ALL. I always tell people to just CLEAN the inside and outside, and dump the furnishings! You don't even need to paint! But, if it's filthy, paint all the rooms a white-white, and install Wainscotting along the ceiling. I didn't do a thing but remove the furnishings, because I'm super clean. My advice is to chop down your video, because it makes it seem like you're assuming all home sellers have no clue, at all. Good Luck to you!

This house was designed by an architect by the name of Ed Heine. I know because I'm his son. I spent a great deal of time in that home. My girlfriend lived there. From 2000 to 2011 lots of great memories. The house has a magnificent floor plan. Very comfortable- not too big. Cozy
