Had 3 of these hatchbacks. Always said it I drove it like it was my Porsche.

Definitely a close ration transmission, guessing standard B16 transmission (closer ratio that the B18 trans, common swap for road course) but with a higher final drive gear as well. Judging from the RPM and acceleration, guessing just a standard healthy B18 with Type R cams, then intake, exhaust, and tune. The thing handles amazing tho, definitely most of the money in suspension and tires, and time at the track tuning the alignment and best brake pads, not to mention driver mod top skills.

de destacar al Civic que tiene un motor mas pequeño pero muy trabajado para rendir a esa velocidad por tanto tiempo, la suspensión para tomar esas curvas y la conducción de un piloto experimentado, sin dudas le piso los talones a esos grandulones y al Porsche lo izo desistir.

May be you both should exchange your car to do few laps as you both have phenomenal skills and know your own car so well but will you perform the same with another track tool!

You should do a b20vtec on it. Use the b16b head and swap it onto a built b20 bottem end. Thing moves as is, cant imagine a semi built b20v in that thang 🙏❤️
