How ONE DECISION RUINED Fernando Torres’ career…
Fernando Torres was one of the best strikers in the late 2000s and had a promising career ahead of him. But just two months before the world cup, he had a really difficult decision to make: He was injured in a match against Benfica and it wasn’t safe to say, wether he’d be ready for the World Cup. Thanks to a successful operation and a good recovery, things were looking good for Torres. But something still went wrong…

As Greece entered the Euros 2004, they were glad for just participating. After all it was just the second-ever time they qualified for the competition. Logically they were given a chance of winning of 0.6%, but sometimes football just can't be explained in numbers... So how did they manage to pull his off and stay on the number 1 rank for a total of 6 years? And even more important: How did they not win ANY trophies? This is story is about the sad truth of Belgium's GOLDEN GENERATION. I hope you enj...
How an UNKNOWN GEORGIAN kid CONQUERED Europe
Переглядів 2 тис.Місяць тому
For the longest time Kvicha Kvaratskhelia was just a Georgian boy, playing somewhere in Georgia. Basically nobody knew him at that time, but things changed quickly, after Russia invaded Ukraine and Kvaratskhelia had to transfer to a new club. What happened after that is history... How ONE MISTAKE RUINED Samuel Umtiti's career
Переглядів 94 тис.Місяць тому
Samuel Umtiti was once known as one of the brightest center-back talents in the world. After the World Cup 2018 though, everything changed for Umtiti: He was plagued with injuries and his performences dropped. This all concluded in one of football's saddest downfalls. we portuguese never forgot this
Belgium sin was to lose to Wales in 2016, a match they should have won, and not making readjustments to face France, if they had defeated France they would have won the tournament.
I agree!
He was so underrated
The story is a complete misinformation. Umtiti had his meniscus removed at the age of 17. Players without meniscus barely can play for more than 5-6 years on the top because they start suffering from a constant knee pain (Umtiti case) and a serious speed loss
that three year at the live he was a beast so unhappy to saw his career downfall one of the icons of the game
Bro honestly just by watching I can tell you put so much effort into your videos keep up the good work your going places
Thank you for the motivation!
Sacrificed his career for a world cup. Worth it? absolutely
So did umtiti
Did he at least manage to participate in the victory? To give an assist? To play a crucial pass in an attack that would bring a goal? Anything?
Torres didn‘t score or assist in the 2010 World Cup. It‘s hard to evaluate, how much of an impact he had in the tournament aside from that.
Naah. But he helped in the 2008 euro
Great Video
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Hey, I hope you enjoyed this video and make sure to let met know, if I missed anything about Fernando Torres’ injury. Now, would you sacrifice your career to win a World Cup for your country? Let me know 👇
Victory comes with a sacrifice, umtiti did it!
Really nice, can you make a video about Egypt's golden generation from 2005-2011? Would love to see it in your style
I‘m glad you enjoyed the video! I currently have a lot of other videos planned, but I‘ll definetely add your idea to my list!
Otto Rehhagel, aka "König Otto" ( "king Otto"), aka Rehakles is probably one of the most underrated trainers of all time. in the late nineties ( i think it was in the years 1997 and 1998, but dont nail me on that) he led the 1. FC Kaiserslautern from 2nd to 1st german bundesliga and became champion in the same year - an unprecedented event in germany. bayern trailed them all season long, man those were the days, those were the days.
I think he was very special as a coach. He didn‘t manage „the big teams“, but instead a lot of underdog teams like Kaiserslautern or Greece. And I mean his success speaks for itsself..
it's crazy how greece didn't qualify for the world cup 2002 and 2 years later won the euros
I believe Italy did the same in 2020
I know the video is about Greece but that photo of the France starting XI. 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 Thats complete filth. Almost every player is arguably one of if not the best in the world in their position at the time. Reminds me just how outrageously good France were then.
I totally agree!
Its the euros, shit teams win it all the time: Greece, Denmark and Italy.
Denmark was not a bad team brother.
@@rafsoverflow sure was, did not qualify
Iraq AFC cup in 2007 is way more insane than that
What is that voice over? It’s horrible
great video but today you went a bit overboard with the sound effects
Thanks for the feedback!
@@Football_Agent_YT Seconded, Great content just definitely a bit off putting hearting "WZOOOM" every 2 seconds haha.
Amazing video yet again, keep going man🤝🏻🙏💫
Thank you!
Psg to replace mbappe or liverpool for salah
Same thing happen to Fernando Torres. Sacrifices is knees for a world cup title. Players will more be remembered for a World Cup title than a league or Champions league.
Umtiti made the worst mistake of his life when he celebrated his goal at the world cup by doing the Beyoncé walk,,,showing the homosexual side of him, it was very disgusting because so many kids who idolize him had to see that type of toxic behaviour
really dope video
Thank you!
@@Football_Agent_YT cant wait to see you grow, more blessings to you!
Umtiti 4life
tbh, he can only decide his destiny so every1 shd respect this
Hes a WC winner tho👏🏿👏🏿
Can't take that away from him I guess
Some reports reported that he went to the World Cup with an injury which he refused to do a surgery hence he cameback broken,
Nosense
You could literally make for Almost every France player after winning the World Cup. To be honest.
Can Belgium finishing 3rd or 4th in the Euro's againts Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine?
I personally expect them to advance out of their group, since it‘s not a difficult group. What‘s your prediction?
I hope 1. Romania 2. Ukraine 3. Slovakia (advance) 4. Belgium But in reality 1. Belgium 2. Ukraine 3. Slovakia (advance) 4. Romania
Pretty good prediction! Are you from Romania?
@@Football_Agent_YT Yeah
Great video, this channel is so underrated, do you also have Instagram?
Cheers man, I‘m glad you enjoyed the video! I‘m on insta, but not active at the moment. You can still check it out though, it‘s linked on my channel page
Playing in the Farsa 🎉destroy his career..
Awesome Video
Thank you!
Nainggolan was the missing piece. Martinez didn't ever select him.
Can you consider making a video about Serbia? The unused potential & the legacy of failure that ensued after the break of Yugoslavia...
Interesting idea! The next videos are already planned, but maybe in the coming weeks!
@@Football_Agent_YT Looking forward to watching those video documentaries 👍
You will never know why this comment got no likes
Mike a Video about Irlands Failure 😊
I‘ll consider it!
I don't think it's a mistake. It was the best decision of his life. A world cup is worth more than having a decent club career.
A world cup with a country that will NEGLECT him in his worst moments
He can say he won da world cup bt he lost a lot 2,cz we all know clubs r da 1 who pays those millions daats yy guys like Pogba can a found 2 buy private jets n enjoy there retirement happily.....We hv guys like zlatan, Beckham and his fellow country man Mathieu Flamini (who is now a Billionaire cz of the money he made n invested)....Many footballers hv not won world cup n they r regarded legends ....It doesn't mean winning a world cup final n reign your career will put u up there,1st of all with France 😂😂😂😂😅 u r an immigrant whether u like it or not(French by registration ,he was 2yrs when he moved there)Now let's see if French will think about u n Barca will neva think about u 2 cz they spent a lot of money on u n u choose France ova them... Guys like Dani Alves, marcello, Samuel Etoo n Drogba r richer than u with World cup medal 🏅...... Football is a profession a job u make money n when u leave u enjoy....Maybe u join titi(he won world cup n he is on tv) n carrager as a pundits .
**Richer than u without World cup medal 🥇
It wasn’t a mistake. He won the greatest accolade in sports. I’d say it was the passionate choice
Man, nice video nice editing! You will be big in future
Cheers man, I‘m glad you liked it!
Failure is harsh yes, but I never thought thwy had what it took beat a France, Italy or even an England imo.
Yes, they often underperformed in the „big“ games
@@Football_Agent_YT Its really so sad that belgium never won a major tournament with those guys, they really deserved it to seal their greatness, their squad was super impressive. Hey, i would love to make some business inquiries, please how do i reach out to you?
@Noni383 I'm glad you liked the video! You can always reach me by email (footballagent.business@gmail.com), it's also linked in my channel description.
@@Football_Agent_YT Alright. Thank you very much
Great Content
Saying he conquered Europe is suuuuuch a stretch. Extremely lucky season. Don’t forget they are ninth in serie a
Could you explain what you mean with „extremely lucky season“? After all they won with a 16 point lead, I wouldn‘t call that lucky. And yes, Napoli are 9th place right now, but that doesn‘t mean it‘s Kvara‘s fault. His stats are still pretty good, considering that he doesn‘t get much help from his teammates. But thanks for the feedback!
underrated channel man. great video.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Won a worldcup. His carreer is still better then 90% of footballers
Definitely, but who knows how much more he could have achieved.. 😢
Cheers from Nepal 🇳🇵
This channel will get big one day keep it up 🔥🔥
Cheers man, I appreciate it!
We could even say 2023
Nothing is promised in Athletics sigh
It‘s a tough business.
He didn't sacrifice a thing for the world cup. He was a footballer that had knee problems, if it hadn't of flared up after a world cup it would of flared up later. Are we meant to feel sorry for this millionaire world cup winner? What a load of old rollocks.
When discussing this topic, I can’t believe you managed to leave out the real reason why you can say he sacrificed his career for the WC : he already had recurring knee issues prior to the World Cup, which he could’ve sorted out for good by undergoing extensive treatment, but that would’ve forced him to miss out on the WC. The real sacrifice is that he chose to play through this knee injury to win the WC, which led to him damaging his knee for good and becoming the injury-prone Umtiti that we knew from 2018 onwards
So its like a Fernando Torres 2.0 ?
