To be honest I kind of agree with this young lady. I discovered my HBCU during a college tour in my sr year. As a New Yorker, I’d had never been educated on such history. In fact, I’d never considered college however, I ended up at Clark Atlanta University in Atalanta, GA. I was the first and ONLY member of my family to attend an HBCU and I loved it. My second sister ended up at VCU in Richmond, VA (not an HBCU) and my baby sister went to Dartmouth (definitely not an HBCU) but we all enjoyed our experiences and gained education despite everything else. I don’t push HBCU on my children however, these days I don’t even push college bc success is so much more than a degree.❤ Had to edit: The other two sisters continued with their masters and one is working on her PhD. Guess which one that is 🤔 (not me)

What's up opinion seeker's , my sister invited me to a function with her job and the young ladies that she works with don't have a man and I'm single so I accepted the invite. I had to tell her before I arrive these young ladies need to understand that I'm not coming to pick nobody right away. the main young lady she told me about she was under the impression that I was coming for her. I get to the event and I had a feeling that it was going to be like that I told my sister just because she work with them didn't mean that I would give one of them a chance. these young ladies today aren't taking care of themselves and then want a nice looking man to represent her.its like if you know that she's going to have a problem with her own personal up keep what does she have to offer me.theres no need to come into someone life and tell them what they already know they need to do she just want what she wants and don't give a frank who looks like a fool.
