Hello, popping in to just clarify something. In this video I do mention some issues I have with the ending, but admittedly it’s pretty short. So I’m just gonna write what I didn’t like off the top of my head Spoilers ahead Nobara’s revival is wonky, The whole new shadow school thing, limited chapters to wrap the story up, final fight being a bit underwhelming, a couple more should have died, and a lack of Megumi consequences/interaction with Gojo This is not me backpedaling, I said a few of these (and I probably have more) in the video. This is just me clarifying that this is not a perfect ending, it’s one I can appreciate as a good one and if you disagree then that fine with me

I'm really REALLY tired of people pretending to be smarter because apparently they like this ending. JUST BECAUSE ITS WEIRD TO DO SOMETHING , DOSENT MEAN ITS CLEVER. "You dont understand jujutsu kaisen" well , as someone who absolutely hated the ending i can say the same thing to you. Jjk was never meant to be a manga where character interactions held a lot of water. Sure it had its moments like with geto and gojo , mahito and yuji.. but its absolutely wrong to say that jjk was not a combat based manga , Much MUCH more importance was given to powerscaling throughout the manga and it feels horrible to see it end in such a way that completely twists the narrative to a strong emotional standpoint. And lets just not forget the amount of plotholes and unexplained phenomenons , as well as several characters being introduced but just not being explored AT ALL , and not in a good mysterious type of fashion , but one that just feels like the author rushed the story or just didn't have enough foresight to plak dialogues/character interactions properly. If you like something , thats great. But misleading others and saying that they are "wrong" or just lack reading comprehension is irritating and narcissistic. It's like youre saying "oh you dont agree with me because youre too dumb to understand" , its something mostly stupid people do themselves to mask insecurities. Also can i just mention that you ranted for FIFTEEN MINUTES and provided no extra value to the story for me? (Personal opinion) If youre doing commentary videos and dont want them to be labelled as slop , try actually scripting it in a way thats interesting and gives back to the viewer or atleast make it entertaining. I honestly finished the video only because i was in a bad mood and wanted to punish myself for that.

The HK is my favorite character because it’s just so tragic that a being created to feel nothing ends up feeling for its creator. HK cared so much for the Pale King, for Hallownest, despite being its sacrifice, that it tries to kill itself through the Radience’s control. Seeing it repeatedly stab itself during our battle to help us kill it, was heartbreaking. It could never be the perfect knight because it grew to love his father and kingdom. Still it fought to contain the Radiance, rotting in pain, probably determined to for as long as it lived.

I mostly agree just a couple things id change tiers of Id put #5 at 2 #2 at 7 put #1 at 2.5 and #3 at 2.6 After that id put 10, 9, and 8 all at #7 keep #4 at 4 and put #6 at 1 But besides that 100% agree

I love hollow knight because of the lore also the hollow knight (the npc) is an amazing fight which basically is a misture of many npcs in the game which makes a lot of sense also having many habilities which some are close from our moves

I love the Pure Vessel because we finally got to see the hollow knight at its peak.as you said, this battle is not like one of Grim where it is a rhythm battles. Pure Vessel is more of a Duel. A fight to see who is more worthy to be the Lord of Shades to take down the Absolute Radiance.

This is just a Fan Theory from a fan made game DLC called the Pale Court. But there are Charms in that dlc that shows that the 5 great knights were the ones who trained the hollow knight/ Pure Vessel.

The Hollow Knight is my favorite boss from any game I've ever played, the reasons as to why they're my favorite are mostly the same as yours. I'm kinda disappointed you didn't bring up the memorial to The Hollow Knight as it's one of the biggest reasons why they're my favorite boss. Anyway, great video, I always love hearing praise for The Hollow Knight because of how surprisingly rare it is.

Pure Vessel and Nightmare King Grimm have to be my favorite fights by far! With NKG it’s more of a dance or show, with very swift moves and you the player are being controlled and are beneath the power of confidence of Grimm. And with pure Vessel, like you said their fight is like a duel and feels like a student surpassing their teacher or master. Also another important detail which I think you didn’t mention is that the Hollow knight only has one arm when infected and is slow and feeble, not quite itself. Whereas the Pure vessel has both arms and is fighting like a true prince or warrior. Also there is a memory that I think captures the fact that the “Pure vessel has a mind to think, is after the path of pain, which, if you haven’t done, I would highly recommend it as it is a very difficult parkour section, and it has a memory at the end which shows the vessel and the pale King having a moment as father and son. Also, another thing to mention is that the radiance or absolute radiance is more like a bullet hell, although it really gives the feeling of overcoming everything in the game and becoming the true power of the game. I absolutely loved this video and I think you deserve more recognition. This is a very good assessment of the boss.

The Hollow Knight is probably my favorite boss fight I‘ve faced in all of gaming. I love the character, the lore behind the fight is so good, the music is Hollow Knight‘s soundtrack at it’s best (imo), the moveset is great (especially when fighting him for the first time) Everything‘s just perfect in this fight, it’s so climactic. I personally can’t think of a better boss fight.

Wow this video is underrated. Really glad I was blessed with it in my recommended! I’m not sure if you know, but none of the vessels have gender. They all use it pronouns, including the hollow knight. Leads to hornet’s funniest nickname, “the gendered child.”

I genuinely really agree with a lot of this, the Hollow Knight is an amazing boss in both his forms, honestly there is a real difference to me on these bosses, for the pure vessel it was one of the hardest bosses i had ever gone through, and the Hollow knight is admittedly not that hard of a boss but the boss itself has so much behind it the shrieks of pain, the moment the Hollow Knight began stabbing itself was such a breathtaking moment and through sheer difficulty Pure Vessel makes me feel a similar affect, The Hollow Knight at its peak is a force to be reckoned with, and the thought that its voice is angelic is such a interesting thing, i really had always thought "oh it has no voice. cool lore to see in the boss" but even if i think that, i like your interpretation, its soft and elegant, such a force with such a soft voice, and thats why i love pure vessel, its an amazing boss that pushes the bar even further into Hollow Knights stellar game. bro i thought you were an stablished youtuber with that editing and mic quality don't flashbang me with a "9 likes" and "48 subs" lmao. i also love The Hollow Knight, so i will sub as a fellow twink lover. i like the interpretation that the start of the Pure Vessel OST is the hollow knight's "voice", as it both is thematically pretty sick and also gives a layer more to this fight. No vessel has a voice, "no mind to think, no will to break, *no voice to cry suffering* ", and when he is infected as the seal, every time they screech it is radiance doing it from inside, but in this fight, he finally has the power of agency, to be himself and fight you, so even though he screeches in silence, the soundtrack still decides to give him his own voice. on musical analysis, the hollow knight's (sealed vessel OST) leitmotif is heartbreaking, even more after experiencing all the story and knowing what is happening (as it plays in the path of pain and in the birthplace). when i first heard that music playing, i actually started crying (i still do a lil lmao). the hollow knight is the character that took most Ls in the story, and he deserves more love. the moment i started understanding his story was when i truly fell in love with this game (and my addiction started), so with this i gotta say... the hollow knight may have that name, but he isn't hollow, not to me. p.s. 0:31 bro caught lacking 1:21 bro caught lacking 2:22 bro caught lacking 3:46 bro caught lacking 6:30 bro cooked 7:38 bro caught lacking 9:38 bro caught lacking 12:09 bro caught lacking 14:45 bro cooked hard
