The problem with dante is alot of his moves knock the enemy back, but by using the summoned swords from dsd you can hold the enemy in place instead of them getting launched 50 feet away from dante, for example stinger+four handed, this just alows you to close the gap between an enemy without knocking them back again

Pro tip: if you time it right you can chain certain moves into each other, for example yamato combo C into upper slash 2, if you put in the input for upper slash 2 right before the last hit of yamato combo C it will cancel the animation and won't do the last hit that knocks enemies back. This also works for other multi hit moves like beowulf combo B and million stab for mirage edge (Edit) nvm beo combo B isn't a good example
