in reality it would be far more difficult than this to kill someone in that armor. Even if you managed to get the point of your blade into a gap, you would then be up against the mail protection in that area, and that is by no means easy to penetrate through. Of course, if you put enough force, it might not matter whether you get past the mail or not. just the force of that pushing against the throat might be enough to disable the person. mail can't disperse force like a rigid plate shell. I have a suspicion that a lot of well armored knights met their end by having a blade shoved up their unprotected rears after they fell on the ground. or into their groins. either way, by making it so hard to hurt them elsewhere, it makes those two areas the only completely unprotected vital spots (unless you flip the visor open)

Yknow, i wish you could choke somebody in this game. With the half sword stance, i could easily see a ''strangling'' mechanic when you get behind your enemy and put something on their neck. Would add more to combat.

The only problem is that you cant actually halfsword in a game called halfsword. Only way you can penetrate the armor are the daggers and spears.

When me and my friends drink too much because our lives are horrible and we find our old toy lightsabers from the good ol’ days.
