Hi my friend. I know the guy and he is a great gamer. I was following him since he was playing Pillars. As far as I know he plays only solo and I meant the full patry. To play solo is a different story and it is much easier. In WoTR solo is typically done with limited builds and tactics (whitch of the wail, invisibility etc. ) also side quests and optional mobs are ignored. There were also others who successfully played solo, like Victor Creed e.g. What I call the Ultimate Unfair is as hard as it can get: - all 6 companions - no mullticlassing - damage to party x3 - no OP builds like divine custers + Angel Mythic path - no mercs, no pets, no respecs, no toybox, no cheats - ALL the optional mobs, fights and DLCs are done - No reloads (if Last Azlanti) Of course, Ultimate Unfair on Azlanti is not possible. But even on normal Unfair several gamers who tried to play Azlanti with 6 companions, multiclassing, reloads, mercs, toybox etc. didn't succeed as far as I know . If someone did it, I would be very interested to see all the videos, from the first till the last Act of the game. Maybe I just wasn't searching good enough... Regarding Ultimate Unfair, I've beaten the game twice: with Wizard Azata and Fighter Angel. Now I am playing Last Azlanti Ultimate Core. Ultimate because I apply the same approach as discribed above (and without reloads). As far as I know no one tried Last Azlanti Core with that constraints yet. Maybe it is even not possible to beat the game on that difficulty. We'll see. Just hope there will be no bugs. I got one in Grey Garrison just during the fight. Almost got the party killed.

@@crpg_unfair Keep it up. I am waiting the italian fan translation for wotr to play it. Also you plan to play Baldur's Gate 3 on Honour Mode? I remember you telling me it was easy on tactician but in my opinion on honour mode with 1 life and 1 save it will be a good challenge to try for you.

@@heisenberg9236 Hi! Yes I heard they have now Honour Mode and I will sure try it afer I have finished WoTR. In the meantime more patches will come to BG3.

My first playthrough was with Wizard/Azata as MC. Also on Ultimate Unfair. Actually it was not difficult, not counting the last fight with Areelu which WAS difficult. I have videos from that playthrough on my UA-cam account.

Because sometimes it doesn't work and it can also overright the saves I might need. But I do use quicksaves sometimes.

New mythic feats is cool. My MC strength modifier is now 10...

Oh yeah, I believe conspiracy encounter is the most difficult in the game so far. Even fighting 2 demon lords is not that hard as Conspiracy@@crpg_unfair

I think for Seelah and for my Fighter glaives are the best choice, just due to their reach. Without reach (and Lunge feat) Fighter and Seelah will be within the hit reach of bosses and will be killed just after their Last Stand has been over. Regarding Weapon Focus (+ Greater Weapon Focus + Weapon Focus Mythic) it adds more to attack. Without high attack I do not see how to defeat Areelu Worlesh, so every extra point is important. Even now I am not sure it is possible with my team, considering her high stats. Also I do not see how to pass the Persuasion check not to fight the 3 Areelu Worlesh copies... That is the reason I wanted to go Azata and to have that Dragon Aiwu for Persuasion and Resurrection. I'll have to take Daeran for Persuasion, which means damping Lan who can hit Areelu after she has been dispelled at least 2 times... So a lot of doubts for Areelus fight...

I finished Act 1 of BG3 on Tactician, but it is too easy so I got a bit bored despite the game's great visuals. I will definitely finish BG3 with all four companions just for the content. Then I maybe will do another run, solo. But first I'll finish WoTR and then Rogue Trader comes ... So BG3 will be next year. I guess they will also make a DLC and optimize the game during that time.

You're right the game is too easy, tactician should be the normal mode in fact in my opinion they should add 2 new difficulties to make the game more difficult. For this reason, being looking for a challenge, i found your channel and i am now playing kingmaker on unfair and then I will play wotr even if it is not translated into my language (Italian). Do you think I can play Wotr after finishing Kingmaker or is it better to wait for the DLC which comes out on November 21st?

@@heisenberg9236 If you play Kingmaker on Unfair it will be not easy to finish it before November. It's a big game. Then this DLC that comes in November is the continuation of another DLC which needs to be played as well to see the story, so you have enough time I guess. It took me 5 months to finish Kingmaker on Ultimate Unfaire (no multicalssing, pets, mercenaries etc. )

I am at the beginning of chapter 3 playing as sylvan sorcerer and on unfair is very doable, now i am interested in your challenge and in future i will do it for sure after completing wotr.

@@heisenberg9236 Do you have the damage multiplier from enemies x2? If yes, you might want to try x3, it will be a bit more challenging, especially in the first chapters, but later also.

Yes I did. It was and IS a great game and I believe it still has potential despite the outdated graphics. If it were remade (Patfinder WoTR style), I think all the cRPG fans would buy it.

By the way, I do not see in the combat log "protection from evil" and I think in the beginning of the game I saw it couple of times. Or was I wrong...

You are attentive. But that fight really was going bad till I have found the correct tactics.

I was also surprised by that. Dretches cast their stinking cloud as hell and babao fighters in Drezen started DISPELLING, at least once in the beginning; but it is nice

I have to look at Leach for my future playthrough. Angel is not good, because no free team feats, which are a must. Azata gives 2 free team feats and a dragon, but most of its feats are of little use. Aeon has some useful things, but again no team feats. So I will have to go for Azata. To beat Areelu will be extrimely difficult if possible at all.

I finished BG 3 Act 1 on Tactician. It is too easy and fights are repetitive. I could probably try to play BG 3 in Solo mode, but then it means a lot of content will be lost and BG 3 is all about content and interactions... I think VictorCreed is already playing BG 3 solo though and I like to do challenges that no one tried before.

BG3 is very easy on tactician i start playing as a 4 member team and after i Reach act3 i realise its so damn boring and start again, this time solo sorc. Still easy... but some figts are challanging. Few spells totaly rape enemys IA... for example darkness... just stay in darkness and all fights become easy:/ and i also play without any special builds, yt guides etc.

A good question, thank you. I took it just to have proficiency with the longswords ang greatswords. On this really insane difficulty all the choices are important. I am by the way not sure if it is possible to beat the game with a Fighter. Till the beginning of Act 4 it should be OK, but then who knows. I'll try.

​@@crpg_unfairas a fighter u re already proficient with them. As for bonuces they do not stack with enchantment nor with masterwork weapons. And ironically, you get both masterwork long sword and greatsword almost from the start. So its like 99% useless for your character. Instead you could pick matrial background (oblate) and get improved unarmed strike for free at level one. And then pick crane style at level 2. Also halfling is overall more solid choice for tank character. You have one feat less at the start, but get +1 AC and AB from size, as well as oportunity ti pick racial feat "cautious fighter" wich privides +2 additional AC while fighting defensively. So in the end halfling fighter will be 1-3 points of AC ahead from human.

@@t_task Thank you! It's a great advice indeed to pick oblate(for Human) and I will keep in mind this possibility. I would still pick Crane Style at level 3, and on level 2 - Missile Shield, to protect against gambions and other range damage dealers in Labyrinth. It could be, it would work also with the Crane Style on level 2 as you suggest and Missile Shield on level 3. Something to try. The problem with picking Oblate is that you loose 1 attack and 1 damage, as officially you do not have proficiency with Longsword and Greatsword. They are not listed in Weapon Proficiency, I checked.That's why I am surprised they can be used by Oblate. Is it a bug? Leader has enhancement +2 for attack and damage while Oblate +1. It means Fighter Oblate will be missing more often. But Fighter should also be able to hit. In any case, on this difficulty to make a real tank (at least 85-87 AC) is not possible Of course, there is an extra feat, which is great. Something to consider. For Halfling in short. You get indeed 1-3 more points to AC, comparing to my Human Fighter build. So it's a bit tankier, but you loose a feat. I have to damp or Lunge(which is a must!), or Combat Reflexes(which is important). And Lunge on Halfling will be not efficient. Also, especially problematic in Acts 1-4, attack and damage output would be less due to lower Strength score then my Fighter has. Is 1-3 extra AC points worth that? I am not sure. In any case, you can't make Halfling a real tank, it never be able to tank serious enemies(you need 85-87 AC for those at least), and for the lesser enemies Human Fighter will be doing fine. But your advice to go for Human Oblate is interesting and worth considering.I made it more difficult for myself loosing a feat. On the other hand - Oblate is 1 attack and 1 damage less. Damage is not so important, but attack matters, especially when fighting Areelu and some other fiends. BTW, I am not sure that it is possible to beat the game with Fighter on this difficulty and conditions I imposed on myself. On the other hand, I've done it with Wizard Azata, so we'll see. If you have some more advices I am greatful in advance for them.

@@crpg_unfair longswords and greatswords are part of matrial weapons group wich can be used by any fighter regardless of background you chose for them. If you still pick this for fighter he will get +1 to attack (but not to damage) roll. But this bonus doesnt stack with any bonuses weapon may have by itself. You can test this on Lann for example (as he has hunter background with bonus to longbows). Give him regular longbow, masterwork longbow and finally longbow+1. His attack will be the same in all 3 cases and only longbow+1 actually give him some bonus to damage from weapon. For halflings, well, loosing a fit isnt a big deal for me, as they overcompensate it anyway. Cautious fighter actually worth two feats since it gives +2 to AC. So you are free to delay any AC feat you want and still be on the pair with human tank-wise. I wouldnt be bothered about offensive power too much, as the tower shiled specialists arent meant to be damage dealers anyway. Otherwise would go mutation warrior instead. One more thing you probably missed as well - combar expertise wich is up to +6 to AC, but you need int 13 to get it. So in your case you need wait until you get +6 int item. Overall i believe fighter is quite solid class and as tss can achieve very respectable amount of armored AC. Would assume 80+ is quite possible with proper building, itemization and buffing from team members. Dont forget you can use scrolls (such as seamantle) through Use magic device skill.

That's true, sorry for that. Before I already played the game till Act 4, so those dialogues were known to me. As my aim was to beat the game on the hardest possible level, I was more focused on that task, than on the story in the first 4 acts. Actually this stream was to prove that it is indeed possible to beat the game on the Ultimate Unfair and that was done!
