From a little research this is what I learned, but keep in mind to do your own research still. When comparing a standard F90 M5 to an LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) version, the primary changes are aesthetic updates to the exterior and interior design, along with minor performance tweaks, including a revised suspension setup, updated infotainment system with a larger screen, and potentially slightly improved handling characteristics thanks to software adjustments, all while maintaining the same core powertrain; essentially, the LCI is a mid-cycle refresh of the F90 M5 with a more modern look and feel. When comparing a standard BMW F90 M5 to an M5 Competition, the "Comp" version primarily features upgraded suspension, a slightly lower ride height, a more aggressive exhaust system, and a slight power boost, essentially making it a more performance-focused variant with sharper handling and quicker acceleration compared to the base M5. Also you asked before does the car come with carbon ceramic brakes and LSD. From what I seen that carbon ceramic brakes is an option for this car and that limited slip differential is on the car.

Only differences between the competition and base are the seatbelt stripes, black trimming, stiffer motor mounts,15hp and 6mm lower suspension? None of that is worth the price difference if you’re going to lower it and add downpipes and tune. Carbon ceramics definitely forth searching for. There’s literally no brake dust on your motivo wheels and you’ll feel your face pull on braking. Only things to watch out for is the coolant expansion tank leaks (which have a recall and covered by BMW). Oil changes every 5k miles vs BMW recommended 10k miles. And when you tune it keep your torque under 750 so you don’t spin a rod at low RPM.

in my personal opinion i would say the m5 comp is something definitely to cop over the base m5 if you're spending the money already i would say its pretty nice considering it comes with a good amount more power and a few better options like the carbon ceramics u were wondering about

Wait! I missed the poll. I would have chose a two door coupe. I always choose coupes. G87 M2 is the best option. I plan to do it on youtube someday if I can get ever get the car, but I simply don't have the money right now.. Jackie Ding has the best videos for the G87 M2, and he is also a professional race car track driver.

I’ve given it 5 years and an LCI update and I still can’t do the exterior looks of the g82. I’ve finally made the decision to grab an f82. Which pains me because I like having the latest and greatest, but god BMW screwed up so bad on the g82 exterior. Interior of G82 is FUEGO tho

Haha yeh I cleaned my R8 then went for a drive. Went straight out at a T junction. Nearly crashed car. Was mental. 😂 literally hold break pedal once cleaned at slow speed and they dry out really quick.
