For some reason, there are dozens, maybe hundreds of people that are fantasizing that Billy the Kid lived on to old age, so they have grabbed on to Brushy Bill to help keep their fantasy alive. Anyone that believes that Brushy Bill was Billy the Kid is not thinking straight.
