Hello Stroger. I have seen her video called "OrcaFlex Variable Data | Marginal Analysis". In the construction tree you access the "VAriable data" option and a subfolder called "Edit Variable data". In the Structure section, particularly in the Bending stiffness - Plasticity wizart section you update the data box, for Stress-Strain relationship, Ramberg.Osgood parameter option, please tell me how you obtain the value of the constant K. Just some comments. OrcaFlex was first released in 1986. OrcaLay was never really meant to compete against OFFPIPE. It was designed for a specific task at the specification of a client. You are correct that once the line supports feature was added to OrcaFlex then it was able to line up against OFFPIPE. OrcaMotion is a very old program, for DOS, whose job was to convert RAOs from a variety of formats into a form that could be then imported into OrcaFlex. It had some other functionality, but essentially that conversion task was its primary function. Again what happened is that the conversion and import functionality was moved into OrcaFlex and thus OrcaMotion became redundant. I would not regard OrcaMotion and OrcaWave as being related. OrcaWave is a comprehensive diffraction / radiation code with functionality very similar to WAMIT / AQWA / Hydrostar etc.
I didn't mention the first release; I mentioned the first release with the current visual GUI. You can check in their website. Since from all over 20 OrcaXXX software, I just have experience of these 5 software that I listed and also OFFPIPE, I just talked about my findings from employing these 6 software.
