Hey @ProfessorAndrew, can you post here the URL for Episode 1?? Thanks
How to make one domain controller works if the other one is down!
Excellent video....😇
Thank you very much, with your video help (19:00) i get through lab and problem: Link Local Incorrect. Especially when our/Cisco study materials here in Finland doesnt speak nothing about that link local subject/commands 😣😊
Link local is referring to the IPv6 addresses on the router. The chart for the lab lists the global unicast addresses and link local addresses. Both of them need to configured on each interface. The link local is fe80::1 and will be the same on both interfaces and will be the IPv6 Default Gateway on each device.
Awesome video thank you
OMG thank you so much! For some reason, mine stopped working on macOS after the august update, but this helped <3
I took 2 whole lectures for this, but this video clarified manual carving. Thanks
Awesome guy, thank you for help
Sehr gut
thank you
What if once its downloaded, its doesn't open? Is there a way around this? Ive had this new version for a few months now and it stopped working, tried uninstalling and reinstalling and now it doesn't open once it's downloaded. Any info would be grateful.
I have seen that happen when a student was using too many resources on the computer. First thing I would try is restarting the computer and launching Packet Tracer with nothing else running.
@@ProfessorAndrew Thank you so much, I restarted and it worked, lifesaver!!
Cool video. What about android 13 drives. Permanently deleted files with file based encryption??
If it’s encrypted you would need the key to decrypt the drive and then would need to determine if it’s been overwritten. It’s not something I’ve spent any time on so I can’t really offer much beyond that.
Hi Andrew. Thanks for uploading this very useful video tutorial set. I am working on integrating Oracle BI with a custom-built Dot Net app through SSO. I wonder if you ever shot the 'Active Directory: Episode 8' part of this series. It doesn't appear on your channel. Can you please address this? Best.
Part 8 was the AD Certificate Services video, I just didn’t name it properly. Someday I will rename and possibly work on improving thumbnails to clarify things.
@@ProfessorAndrewthanks for reply. This is alright. Appreciated. Stay blessed
Thanks for the help
Hi Andrew, Thank you for taking the time to make this video series.
Can the user information be set up with SAP? or do they have to be entered per employee? I ask because the information is already all populated by Human Resources using SAP, cant it just be copied over?
I would imagine you could do that with some scripting process. It's not something I've done but I would be surprised if no one else has.
Thanks, really helpfull, I needed this for my class!
How can my local network PC can join to hosted domain if the IP are not on the same subnets. Also to be able to ping to hosted domain server, i can't ping to static ip of my domain server. What changes are required to local PC IP settings and server settings before my local PC is able to join the hosted domain server? Thanks
Great job sir, but for the love of God please show us the whole document!!!!
Does VMware offer a command line to spin up a VM?
🔥
Nicely Done
Thank you Andrew for blessing us with another banger🐐🔥
That is a very generous assessment of this video.
Thank you!
Hi sir, whenever I tried to run ettercap and press on that accept button my ettercap automatically crashes. How to solve this?
Great video... Thanks
If you're getting " Ping request could not find host ****. Please check name and try again." The solution i found was to ensure that your CLIENT PC Primary DNS is the same as your SERVER PC DNS by checking your ethernet connection configuration in the server PC windows settings you should see IPv4 DNS servers use the top one. Let me know if it worked for you as well.
the ip of server is what i put on the preferred DNS server is that correct?
Thank you Professor Andrew. I have followed your tutorial but facing an issue while domain joining the PC - The DNS Server isn't responding. I copy the IP Address of the DNS Server and paste it in the "Preferred DNS Server" Settings of the PC. When I ping the local domain it can't be found for some reason. In fact the network connectivity goes down completely and I can't even ping google.com. FYI, I haven't changed any firewall settings of the server (with DC) or the PC.
*you need to be a Domain Admin, tried it as a normal domain member and the Enterprise CA option was greyed out.
Never understood the significance of data carving until now, as well as tools used in this process! Thanks so much :)
Hello What is the fix if the domain is disabled or greyed out? Please help. Thank you so much
!!Excelente Contenido muy bien explicado saludos de Guate
Great work, please make more.
"I am using VirtualBox and have installed Windows Server and Windows 10. However, when I try to connect Windows 10 to the server, it says, 'An Active Directory Domain Controller (AD DC) for the domain "hmz.local" could not be contacted.'
An Active Directory Domain Controller (AD DC) for the domain "hmz local" could not be contacted. Details >> X play You can change the carrion computer. Changes n Ensure that the domain name is typed correctly. If the name is correct, click Details for troubleshooting information this is error how can i fix this .
Well explained
Thank you so much for your video it made my concept much clearer and easier
Before beginning, you must have shown the network configuration of the VirtualBox, whether it is on NAT or internal network, etc. In my case, the issue is that both the server and the Windows 10 VM are getting the same IP address, and Windows is unable to resolve the domain name of the Active Directory. I appreciate the effort you have put into your videos.
how did you fix this issue? im having the same problem
@@shicavv2596 BRo the situation may be different for everyone, but I made an internal network and it worked. Make sure to turn off the firewall in server and window 10
Thank you Professor! Very helpful!🤟
