I'll be honest, since I mainly run mage or archer build, I never really end up using it. I've had some runs where I have and what exactly makes it so good, no hate just genuine question

my experience with it is that it glitches extremely easily , cool idea for a quest but imo it wasnt executed properly

I've just never been a big fan of the quest, confused me my first playthrough and every other time, I had some glitch or something go wrong so it was more of an annoyance than anything

No they're not. The game goes through a lot of effort to show you how both sides are terrible. And if you're a Nord that doesn't want to get fucked in the ass by Thalmor eventually, the Empire is probably the better choice.
