Thank you for showcasing my province. Mount Frere is the most difficult to drive through especially during the week daytime hours. I wish Sanral could find a bypass far from the CBD . I am aware that bypasses have been approved for Qumbu, Mthatha, Dutywa and Butterworth with construction to start before end of 2025.

Hey, I will be visiting cape town very soon and planning to drive from there to mossel bay. I heard and read about how it can get dangerous on n2 when passing by airport/townships. Can I use the N1? Is it safer? Just wants to be on the safe side and dont make a mistake on n2

My nerves are shot...at the speed! I kept thinking if a dog or child ran out...especially on bo Piketberg, with the school on the road...! Pity these trips aren't recorded in Spring, when the world is green! There is a small pass through Piketberg mountain from Sauer, into Kapteinskloof and goes north to Redelinghuys and back to Piketberg. Also turns left to Aurora.Lovely to go slow, open the window and have mountain right there, the fynbos herbs coming into car. Nice for people to experience.
