I asked Tim. He seemed to think there wouldn't be a demand for it - but I think as always he doesn't rate himself highly enough. I think they didn't have enough record company support. There was no publicity at all in the US. When I asked Tim if they would come play in the US he was like "play where?" 😭

@@DonnabellaValentino ohhh really? How sad that sounds! You're right he underestimates his power most probably. The first album had done quite well also. They did nearly no promotion for the second.

Sorry I missed your comment. At the beginning I forget what had happened, but someone (possibly Tom lol) had said that he sang the last song well. And then Richard said "You just wanted to get in that you sang it well!" Then Tom asks the crowd "Did I sing it well?"

Then Tom says "oh please, stop! Let's do another song." Amd someone in the crowd yells out "You sang it well!"

Before You Are Young, Tom says they've been doing a thing at festivals - and then people start calling out festival shows they saw, and Tom says it'll take a long time if we go through everyone! Then he says they've been having ppl sing along to the oh-oh-oh-oh part of the song and we're going to practice it. He says "there are a lot of industry types here" and gestures to the balcony - gig was in New York - and he says "you have to try, no matter how jaded you feel" and says he knows that fans on the floor will sing loudly. Which we did!
