Sins with purge daggers is such a bad thing for 3v3 balance. Sins get too many attacks per second and its hard to stop them from attacking so they have a much higher chance than any other class to get purges. In the very constrictive area of the arena, there's not many places to run when you need some time to fall back and rebuff. I can confidently say after watching these battles that the MAJORITY of them were decided the instant your wep purged somebody. The purge doesn't need to kill them right away, in fact it rarely does. But when the purge arrives very early into the fight, it immediately puts the enemy player hugely on the defensive, as they have to pop a major cooldown to recover from the massive loss of defense and hp as a result of the purge. It just seems to me that the purge mechanic on a dagger is too powerful, when sins are already so very deadly even without purge. A sin without a purge dagger is still easily a match for any arcane class, or archer, or other sins or dbs. Heavy armor classes are a struggle, but they should be---arcanes are supposed to give heavy armor a hard time, not light armor class like sin. Sins just deal far too much dmg to everybody to have access to purge---especially a purge with such a nasty proc rate, and a purge that can proc on cc skills like elimination or deep sting. Getting purged during deep sting is totally the worst. At least with the old purge proc, it couldn't proc while debuffs were being applied (e.g archer r9rr wep) so you at least have a moment to react to the purge. My team has arguably best geared archer in PWI, a very well geared seeker, and myself, a pretty well geared cleric. We struggle to go much higher than 2100 in rating. I am 100% confident that if our archer was a sin instead, our team would be pushing north of 2400---sins with purge daggers are just that game-breaking in 3v3. I mean, after all---the top team in 3v3 has only 2 real players in it---a sin and a seeker (imagine if it was at least a bm instead capable of a ton of cc!). This guy is basically the sin equivalent gearwise to my team's archer, and because of his class he is so tanky yet capable of such high dmg output that he can beat equally-ranked teams even with a # disadvantage. So yeah in light of all that I've observed, I wish that purge daggers would get purged. /rant Nice video btw.
