Mexicans are the creators of how to be a cowboy? Mexicans are the original cowboys from the 1500s blacks and whites came into america in the 1600s. Indians and mexicans had been riding horses 100 years before whites and nlacls entered into america. Whiyes learned in 1830 and blacks learned after the civil war in 1865?

So thankful for this video! My family are the Thompson's and Peay's. I grew up running around these grounds and miss the gathering. Always loved the stands! Took many pictues and the photo booth and ate plenty of candy apples and cotton candy. Loved going under the arbor and listening to the choirs from our tent. Be blessed family! And always remember you are the decendants of the children of Israel. The Heavenly Father's chosen people!!!

Everybody knows the first American cowboy's were native, Mexican and Black Americans. History 101

When texas belonged to mexico and all the southwest ameeican states were mexico, the southwest was full of mexican cowboys called vaqueros. Mexicans had ranches with cattle and horses. It was a way of life for mexicans. Then the mexican and american war happenws and after the war white men invaded the southwest states and took ovee the horses and cattle but the mexicans in america became american citizens right after the war. Mexicans taught white men to ridw horsrs and wrestle cattle and showes them how to rodeo. Then afyer the civil war white cowboys taught blacks how to ride and rodeo in 1865 after the civil war when black slaves were released. The words rodeo and lasso are spanish words. So everyone enjoy the mexican culture

Caution don’t get so caught up in the bad hand black cowboys was and still are being delt . That you don’t acknowledge were right alongside black cowboys and that white cowboys didn’t cover up who we are it was politically and commercially motived because American as a whole wasn’t ready too embrace black cowboys . Stick too the facts and let history speak for it’s self. So let go of the bitterness. Because if you do you are going too find yourself in the big times rodeo and you won’t be ready because the bulls they put you on are bread too think.

White washed? White man ? Grow up! 1/4 black cowboys is not the same as 3/4 white cowboys. Why do people always have to be stupid with stuff. Quit making trouble. Stop provoking racism and hatred. Ride the damn rodeo and enjoy it without saying stupid shit . I love watching your black rodeos. I love watching the white ones too. Nd if there was a Chinese one I’d watch that as well. So grow up

It has nothing to do w their race it’s just the connection they have w their horse and how they preform. I think I saw like one person actually have loose reins, this is not a rodeo more like a show. Some people just don’t know how to ride or act around horses and it’s so annoying and it almost makes you feel bad for them and the horse.

Corporal Austin Garrett-First of all corporal ignorant. You act like Hispanic people don’t have their own thing culturally speaking. You probably didn’t know that because you have adopted the european culture more than your own culture. Just reading your ignorant comment speaks a thousand words. Black people here in the America’s don’t have a cultural of our own. We have been socially engineered to adapt to some else’s culture & religion. Having an event such as the Black Rodeo is only building culture & unity. I would bet you $100 if you were a Hispanic cowboy and wanted to participate they wouldn’t have a problem with it. You said black people would be screaming and hollering if y’all had a Hispanic rodeo...let me let you in a little secret. Black people don’t have a problem with Hispanic people only the ones with european ignorant and who adopted their culture like you for instance. Last but not least you say why are Black such hypocrites!? Your views of my people reeks of white wash bigotry & ignorance. Stay in your lane before one of you people pulls your Hispanic card.
