WASHING MY HAIR AND mini MAKEOVER part 1!
WASHING MY HAIR AND mini MAKEOVER part 1!
Today I will demonstrate how I wash my hair every month:oil prepooing, shampooing, deep conditioning, blowdrying, straightening, curling, and moisturizing.
How we take care of our scalp and ends can impact our hair growth something so simple as how you stretch your hair, how often you wash your hair, your nighttime routine, and how you comb, brush, and take care of your ends can make a big impact on your hair journey.
Headwrapnest hair growth boosting oil smells amazing, doesn't clog your pours or leaves build up on your hair, and mimics your hair's natural oils. Headwrapnest hair brushes help to keep your hair clean and healthy.

    Beautiful hair! Would you say keeping your hair stretched has helped you retain length because of less breakage at the ends?

  • @Vienna-ng6ix

    Whenever I watch you, i always wanna become a straight natural but the humidity where I live is crazy. And blow drying and straightening takes so much time and energy just for it to become frizzy ten minutes later 🙄😭😭

      It’s when you wash your hair way too often for you hair type causing dry brittle hair, split ends and breakage. Signs of this is dry hair despite deep conditioning, hair thinning at the ends ,hair breakage, dry itchy scalp and unusual hair shedding.

    Omg once a month ? Idk if I can do it. My scalp starts itching and is sore after 4 days. The longest I can push is a week or a week and a half.

      @@headwrapnest1316 how do I train myself to go longer without washing my hair ? Does oiling your scalp help with the itching or soreness?

    • @headwrapnest1316
      @headwrapnest1316 3 місяці тому

      Tea tree oil helps mixed with a light oil or water for itchy scalp as your scalp adjusts … if your interested in stretching your washes start slow if you wash your hair once a week than try going 2 weeks between washes than 3 weeks between washing etc. until your hair and scalp adjusts.It works I use to suffer from itchy scalp as well as dried out hair despite deep conditioning every week….this has helped my a lot to heal my scalp and retain length.

    Beautiful simple process. What temperature do you set your flat iron on? Does the heat along with your oil cause any damage? Your hair is beautiful!

    • @headwrapnest1316
      @headwrapnest1316 3 місяці тому

      Thank you! The heat along with the oil dose not cause heat damage, because of the type of oils used in it and I also use a thick heat protected…I flat iron my roots at 390 and the middle to my ends at 370. The ends get one quick pass then I use flexi rods to stretch the ends out further.

    What is stretching your hair?

    • @headwrapnest1316
      @headwrapnest1316 7 місяців тому

      It is a way to retain length by touching your hair less often . You use heating tools once a month to elongate your natural hair which helps to prevent knots and tangles which are usually a result of constant washing and detangling .

  • @eleganceevolved8328
    @eleganceevolved8328 8 місяців тому

    I used to have to wash my hair weekly! It would literally start itching at day 7 like clockwork. One month I just couldn’t wash it weekly and I ended up stretching to a month. It works I would never believe it until tried it. Also when I did itch I sprayed sea breeze astringent in scalp! It helped me! Now I spray with sea breeze astringent just cuz it feels great!

    • @headwrapnest1316

      Yeah the over washing is not necessary it actually sometimes makes things worse. Washing it once a month definitely helped me to heal my scalp ! This is my first time hearing of sea breeze astringent I would definitely look in to it !

      There is always hope we’re there is life there is hope .. if you have scalp issues you should seek a dermatologist your hair can grow… our hair is always growing it’s just to retain the length which is the hard part. What I shared in this video is just something that worked for me to retain length and manipulate my hair less often while still being able to enjoy my hair. This would make the scalp worse for most people because bacteria grows on the scalp and inflammation can get worse, it can cause hairloss. The follicles need to be clean, otherwise the dirt clockes them, then they can't breath anymore. You're lucky that it didn't happen to you.
