@@TheSunriseLounge Move towards a society with more ownership, more democracy, and more decentralization, a society where people/workers own businesses like *worker cooperatives* where every worker in the business is a co-owner and there is *democracy in the workplace* so every worker has an equal vote on how the business should be run. This was the original meaning of socialism and communism: they were about *worker ownership* and *economic and workplace democracy* before authoritarians hijacked the terms and made them about authoritarianism, state ownership, and dictatorship.

the door is open, but he does not force us to walk through. Instead God gives us free will and autonomy. We may choose to live life as we wish, in our own way, Jesus will always love us and he will always want us to come home, but he doesn’t impose on our free will. He spells out plainly what we must do if we choose to GENUINELY put our faith in him. We are all loved, we are all blessed. I don’t really identify with Christianity, I don’t go to church after I saw they had pay machines set to $10 in them. and at every turn I scratch my head when the church contradicts the bible and prioritises their comfort and money over their faith. It’s disheartening but I know that these are human beings. We are all creatures of sin and it was bound to happen. But I can still listen to Jesus Christ. I’ve never really cared about heaven that much, because after learning about Jesus, I felt so much guilt he lived a sinless life, while I would actively search out sin, he forgave his enemies, yet I couldn’t even forgive my father for nothing. He didn’t care what you looked like. Or if you were suffering from any type of “off-putting ailment” he died for all of us while I’m over here disrespecting him and spitting on his loving act that he did for me. He is what the world needs. Not persecution. But mercy, grace, and forgiveness. The world doesn’t need religion. It needs Jesus Christ. Obviously you should not take my word as gospel as I’m just a dude, but if anyone reads this and is interested I cant recommend enough that you do your own research rather than just listening to what me or random people tell you online without giving you the source or any of the information, this goes for content creators and even people of the church sadly. Though that’s not me saying all churches are bad, absolutely not! It’s just that Jesus is far far more reliable.

The real question: where would that vacation be??? Think big. (side bar - really hesitated to give this a thumbs up cause I don't want to "celebrate" you dying. But I DO appreciate the comment, soooo 👍🏻) 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼🫡

GREAT question! Thx! I don't think I'll ever be fully and purely happy in terms of life satisfaction, nor do I think we ever can or even should be. As far as happiness in this video's context, I'll fight violently to ensure I and my fellow humans have agency and are motivated to be virtuous.

Overall organized religion being a waste of time may be a more accurate target for your comment. I believe in a more personal faith supplemented by the collective gatherings at larger venues. However, the general idea of my line of thought is that the push to make Christianity "popular" again is a flawed goal. Popularity and success aren't symbiotic goals.

@@TheSunriseLounge I've never seen someone living a "good life" just decide one day to believe in God. It always seems like something bad has to happen to them first. High standards of living is poison to Christianity. That's why republicans need to make life worse for people so they crack and fall back to faith. Then once there they will continue to vote conservative and keep their lives terrible. It is a feedback loop.
