Shout out to all drummers WITHOUT techs…where, in situations like this, you have to simply let the tom rest against your hip AND play kick with the same leg, without missing a beat, until the song is over.

I used to drum tech and one time the drummers beater came loose and I had to dive under the snare to fix it. Almost lost my hearing being underneath a snare being played at full volume. No time to put plugs in. Got it done, horrible experience. Lol
