    The "Battle of the Ruhr" was an RAF bombing campaign against German heavy industry. It did not involve ground combat.

      ...only if your knowledge of history is limited to wikipedia title pages. There were indeed large ground force battles in that period fighting for the region. Books are amazing things.

      @@ssmith5048 d-day happened in 1944, there was no ground combat in the Ruhr in 1943. To be honest the desciption looks very much ai generated so the UA-camr also has no clue, when it happened.
