this video shows how easy it is to replace a trucks toolbox lock. Wrong? It’s not programmed if the original key is in the truck and you turn it over with the cut key It’ll work, but if the programmed key is out the truck it won’t turn on
I leave the original key at home and it works fine. Maybe you ate thinking of a different kind of ignition.

Is that one liquid cooled? I would definitely put an email out to the customer support people they've been really helpful for me so far. I eventually got a cooling pad for my laptop even with the fan settings changed exporting videos gets the CPU hot
Half the time mine isnt there as well, its a crap shoot if it wants to work right...

08 silverado used a hall effect sensor instead of a computer chipped key. The reason the new key worked is cause the plastic probably tripped the sensor. You may or may not need to replace the sensor if you dont have the original key. Good luck.
In this case, the key and the tumblers were worn. A copy of the key helped, but the extra thickness of that piece of plastic made the difference. After I removed the old tumblers, I put them in an ultrasonic cleaner and replaced them with new ones. When I got the actual key with the chip made, the old key was so worn that they couldn't get the code off of it. However, I had taken pictures of all the lettering and writing on the ignition itself, and then copied down the order of the tumblers.

Eh not bad but for starters should have went step by step for some people. Also should have primed the filter prior to putting it back in an should have turned the key allowing the pump to kick on an allow everything to flow as it should so you dont crank over like that an cause a lot of ruckus. Does more damage to the car than good

Digging a hole in the ground and putting timber ramps on the sides to hold the car is freaking brilliant. It's a budget lift!!!!
I wish I had one of those I have to either drive to my shop and use the lift or do it in front of my house on ramps this is way better grate for changing oil too

At 01:22 the filter was on, it then jumped to the filter off by 01:24. How do you get the clips off? That's the big reason to watch the film.

The clips on the hose disconnect are horse shoe shaped and pull out about 3/8 inch to release. Some other you squeeze the sides to release it . Nice video and i like the mechanics pit to get under the car, that is a real time saver.
Pause at 1:18 and below the joint of OP's thumb you can see one of the 2 little hooks on the legs of the white horseshoe clip, that need to be squeezed in toward the pipe to pop the clip out. <b>It needs no special tools, just pinch both hooks together at the same time</b>
just bad...my issue is i dont have any idea how to remove the clips on the hoses and she skipped that first part and doesnt explain then does it afterwards to put them back on and ur head is in the way and doesnt explain again....might as well just be a slideshow....
so you start the car after removing the fuse until it runs out of gas before you remove the old filter so it doesn't leak on you when you take the old one out is that right? also you didn't show how to take the clips off without breaking them then it looked like you snapped one of them together with just hand pressure. I know its asking before trying but talk when doing the actions so we who are learning understand. thanks for doing the video.
