Woodrow McCandless and Adriano "Sonny" Emperado were his instructors and Joe Emperado was one of his closest friends... He also trained with James Mitose privately when Mitose was living in Los Angeles. Ed Parker was definitely in the mix and at that time Mitose and Chow weren't the only Kenpo Black Belts on the island! Okinawa-Te is my system and Gordon Doversola was my instructor...
