I haven't watched The Simpsons regularly in 20 years. Too many episodes where they burst into song to pad the time. Not surprising. They eventually are gonna run out of ideas.

I used to have some videos I posted over 15 years ago but this year I had to take them down.

If you are interested, after the initial NBC cancelation of Star Trek, they brought the show and cast back in the 1970's but in animation form to complete the 5 year mission.

I was a BLUR fan and never liked Noel for putting himself as God. His involvement in politics smacked him in the face once Thatcher lost the election. I guess he never heard of The Who or the song Won't Get Fooled Again. What a "censored"...lol. Anyone who puts themselves better than The Beatles is arrogant.

I remember the Monkees well. I watched their show in the 60s, bought some of their albums and 45s. I just watched this movie. I saw it when it first aired. I rather liked it. It wasn’t too hard on the guys, it did get their successes and failures across. The guy who played Davy was miscast. You may never have seen the Eddie Cantor story. The actor played excited, energetic, eye flashing Eddie of stage and screen during the scenes which dealt with Eddie’s private life. It was obnoxious and unrealistic. Here in the Monkees biopic, we have the same problem. The actors should have met the real guys and talked to them about those days, their issues, their emotions etc. Instead, it seems as if the actors are playing the Monkees acting on the scripted tv show. All in all, I’d give this a solid B. Look at the Buddy Holly film. Gary Busy goes overboard. He’s like an advocate for Buddy in every situation, but his portrayal was for the most part, given great reviews. He made that film. Everyone else was a side man. It was a dynamic performance and made a hit movie and sent interest in Buddy and his music through the roof. Look at the Ritchie Valens film. Lou Diamond Phillips was great but the script was partly just made up, and wasn’t even Ritchie’s life. Also, Lou didn’t look the part at all. I could go on. Keep up the good work! well there was the original game that came out in 1994. There are clips of people playing it on UA-cam in fact. But I've never heard of this 1, although it definitely does not look finished.

I watched this movie once, never made that mistake again.

The first movie I ever took a "date" to was "The Muppet Movie" (1979). Me, a kid who thought he was all grown up because he went to the movies with a girl! LOL Kissed her cheek, and didn't get cooties! LOL

I would've LOVED to watched a full season of oh no not them, I think in an alternate timeline they'd get the likes of oingo boingo or primus in the episodes. Hell, by meeting Danny Elfman they'd meet Richard Elfman.. if you know you know. (forbidden zone)
