    Thank you for discussing this important topic. I agree that there seems to be a tendency for people to want to customize Jesus (the Word) to fit their own lifestyles, rather than conforming their lives to His teachings. As Matthew 7:21-23 reminds us, this can lead to a false sense of security and ultimately, rejection from God. Proverbs 3:5 is a powerful reminder that we should place complete trust in God and not rely solely on our own understanding. This requires humility and a willingness to surrender our own desires and preconceptions. I appreciate your bringing up the importance of searching our internal motivations. It's crucial that we examine why we might want the Bible to read a certain way. Are we seeking truth, or are we looking for validation of our own beliefs and desires?

    Thanks for clarifying that fallacious post. The writer was essentially saying that Jesus teaching is different from the Bible. Wow! Doesn’t he know that the Bible is the inspired word of God (2Timothy 3:16) and that Jesus and God are one (John 10:30)? People forget God’s judgment is part of the Good News , the Gospel (Romans 2:16). The truth is God’s judgment shows us that every wrong will be righted. No evil will escape justice.

    Didnt work haha. I challenge you to support being on UA-cam using scripture...haha. My point was if God killed babies (and he did) then why should we be concerned about it Not ten minutes in and you have literally gave a valid reason to why we need abortion (evil) so we have the free choice that God wants us to have...no abortion = no free choice. Also...youre claiming that the BABIES in the book of Joshua were guilty of doing evil and God judged them. Let's see if that's valid. If a two month old baby dies tomorrow does he go to hell? Why or why not?? If he doesn't then God killed innocent babies...agreed?

    • @DoNotDiminish
      @DoNotDiminish 2 місяці тому

      You didn’t watch the answers to all you questions are in there lol. So I won’t add anymore to what I’ve already said on that. To address your only new point. Voting against abortion rights does NOT make it impossible to have abortions. It simply makes it illegal and punishable by law. So it would not violate free will For everyone else watching, this is exactly why I used the the verse that says “don’t harden your hearts,”. You can see it in real time in this persons comments unfortunately. I hope you understand one day 🙏🏾

    good of you to notify me, as you can probably tell i wasn't really moved by the prophecy thing but i see good in you, you mean well. if i were to look at the prophecies, the one most relevant to israel is the coming of the third temple and it was looking kinda like it was gonna happen with the red heifer, but no such luck yet it seems. however when it comes to prophecies they are very unreliable especially when they are announced and have people actively trying to make them happen which makes a prophecy a self fulfilling prophecy. but as you know there's plenty of people with prophecies and predictions and seemingly everyone has theirs, i really don't buy into any of it. people want to believe and as such they will see things that aren't there or will make things happen because "it's supposed to happen". just as the things with horoscopes, because they read a horoscope or look into that starsign they start adapting those traits and looking for those signs and whatever makes sense to them as a sign they will self affirm the validity of starsigns based on their own bias because they want it to be true or think it's true enough because they can't really judge themselves accurately. but in any case it's up to you if you want to tackle any of those random comment arguments i made before, i was happy enough just having a bit of a conversation.

    • @DoNotDiminish
      @DoNotDiminish 4 місяці тому

      Copy that I see where you are coming from. It is possible to read into a prophecy something that’s not there. In this case though I purposely picked one that a) had been fulfilled, and b) would be impossible to be self fulfilled. Israel is a tiny nation surrounded but countries that hate them. What has happened to them is miraculous and has not happened at any time else in world history. It’s also clear what the original prophecy foretold so it’s not misinterpreted. I enjoy the conversation as well thanks for taking the time to watch. I’ll address the other topics on the next episode 😎 have a good one until then man🙌🏾
