How far down would you say you could go until the inability to equalize becomes a problem?
This hits hard for a camera comparison video
If you have not own a TG or have version TG5 and below, go buy a TG7. If you already own a TG6, you can wait abit longer to buy a TG8 or TG9. There is a big difference in the way TG7 interprets the light. This is most obvious in night shots & fast activities like biking. In bright sunny day, TG6 is as good as the TG7.
Argument it please
oh lol ok, so they paying people to make fake bias reviews. guess icant find a proper review on this shit
were any filters used? I hear a red filter makes the image amazing
Thanks to you, it took me less than 3 mins to decide to skip this upgrade from tg6
@@notmelah happy to hear it. I was anxiously awaiting the tg7 and would have bought it right away if it was actually a marked improvement from the 6, but unfortunately not. 6 is still a beast.
Ive already bought a tg 7, so technically its the same as the tg 6 with the rebranding, looks etc right?
Yeah, unfortunately. Olympus let us down with this new one.
DJI THE BEST FOR ME
Good review. I found this helpful. Thank you!
@@Mixedpuppy glad to help!
Enjoying the video on my I pad . Chill beck yeah.
The lens on my TG 6 would fog over when I took the camera from a hot sunny beach into cold water for snorkeling pics. I’m told this issue is resolved with the TG 7. Does anyone know this to be true and has anyone else experienced lens fogging issues.
this video did not do a side by side so it is hard to tell which even looked better
Ist ja toll; da bin ich ja mit meiner Fujifilm X-H2s und dem Fujinon 150-600mm fein unterwegs 👍✅
Best camera I’ve ever owned and I’ve had many was……drum roll…..Kodak Brownie 127??? I was 10 and when I got an upgrade to a Praktica EE2 I removed the shutter from the 127 and fitted a cap so I could do long exposure painting and developed/printed my own. Was the best fun I’ve ever had doing photography. Nowadays photography is so boring & bloody expensive!
Bist ja ein Canon-Profi 👍

WOW❤❤❤❤
This is amazing ❤
The biodiversity in these places is just incredible!
Thanks for watching, and yes, insane
Would love to explore Lancandona Rainforest!
Let me know and I can point you in the right direction
Stunning 😍
Thank you! Cheers!
Canon never disappoints
Wenn man der Werbung Glauben schenkt …….
The TG-7 was a big disappointment. I wanted a full range of f-stops, a bigger / better sensor, better lens. All we got was a slightly different body design and a higher price.
Yeah, total cash grab. Wasted opportunity on the part of Olympus because no one else compares when it comes to underwater point-and-shoots.
Wat een prachtige plek
Heel erg!
this video shouldn't show that Canon is the best but rather the camera body doesn't matter as much as the lens and the user. the 5D iii is a 12mp body that was released in 2012 and the 1DX is a FF 18mp from that year.
Dachte zuallererst, Canon-Werbung pur; wie man es halt gewöhnt ist 😁
Oh wow! Definitely adding these to the bucket list! 🎉
You really should!
I went with the TG-7 only because this is my first TG camera and I didn't see a reason to save a few buck on a TG-6. The USB-C is not nothing. I've lost a few electronic devices in my time from stressed micro usb ports
If the price difference isn't a deal breaker and you think the USB-C will save you a headache in the long run, not a bad choice.
idea stolen from me 2 decades ago.
What!?
Hope the universe makes things right for you!
Nikon is the King 🎉😂😅
haha, they're both great cameras.
Weder Canon noch Nikon 😜
Thanks for your Pulau Weh guide! Really helpful ❤
Glad it helped!
I did too … but cam you make the overlay text a little more unobtrusive 👍
Yeah, you're right. Next time will be better.
I can do that!
Very impressive
Love this video! So interesting!
Love your comment!
Great video.
Thanks!
I use Olympus camera. Nice video. Thanks for sharing. 1 LIKE from Singapore.😍👍
Nice! lot's of great wildlife to photograph in Singapore!
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. GREAT VIDEO. INSPIRATIONAL AND SHOULD MOTIVATE OTHERS.
Wonderful, gives me a ton of confidence!
Glad to hear it!
I bought the TG 7, as I wanted a tough little camera as a daily carry. I am very pleased with the images I am getting, especially with the scene modes. I am not an underwater guy, but wanted a waterproof camera.
Yeah, I've taken some shots that I've really liked with the various scene modes. Definitely a great, durable little camera that has never given me any problems.
Can you take another breath underwater?
No, just the one breath while at the surface (with the snorkel out of the water) and then breath hold while fully submerged. Like I mentioned, though, the buoyancy of the mask, plus the fact that you can't really equalize easily because your nose is exposed, means you shouldn't try to dive down deep with this mask.
where exactly is this spot? :)
Just off the northern tip of Sumatra in Indonesia
@@nntproductions000 so it was just all around pulau weh and not all footage was taken on one particular spot?
Yeah, 4 or so different places around the island.
Hi I currently dont have a camera and want to get one thats especially good for travelling and action shots, if its not about upgrading but getting a starter camera would you recommend the 6 or the 7? and can you recogment any of the extensions you can buy at the olympus shop?
I'd just go with the 6. They both have the same size sensor and will produce the same video and photo quality. In terms of add-ons for the camera, It would depend on what you're going to be using the camera for--underwater, etc. Alternatively, if you're just looking for a versatile starter point-and-shoot camera, have a look at a review article I put together a while ago on underwater point-and-shoot cameras. www.nomadnaturetravel.com/nomad-gear/outdoor/water/underwater-camera-for-snorkeling/ They aren't specifically made for underwater photography or videography, but they are all depth-rated to 10+ metres so they are good for it.
@@nntproductions000 thanks✌️
Love it!
Just got my HERO 12 and I’m in love!!
Glad to hear! Hope you get lots of great footage!
Big D500 guy myself
Yeah, it has great autofocus
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. It helped me decide whether to upgrade my TG6 or not.
No problem!
I currently shoot with a TG6 in a Seafrog housing. I was thinking of upgrading to the TG7 but it hardly seems worth it. What are the major differences between the two? Is it seriously just a USB-C port and a slightly different lens ring?
If you do a side by side comparison of the two, doesn't seem worth it at all. Yes, the USB-C charging is nice and it's what pretty much all modern cameras have, and there are a couple of other shooting modes (although they aren't designed for underwater). All of the main camera stats though are unchanged.
This is great! Thanks for sharing!
Cheers!
The GoPro Hero 11 and the DJI Osmo Action 3 both shoot great cinematic underwater video, but I think the depth rating, larger sensor, longer battery life and lower price make the DJI superior.
