I have the same boat. EdgeWater 188 w 115 Yamaha, in Alabama. Glad I don't have to deal with that stuff! I just put mine up for the winter (Dec. 26), but if we hit a warm spell in the 60s I'll get it back out. Otherwise it'll probably be mid-late February.

AMAZING! I see you used metallic paint but in the end pictures it looks black? Did you leave it metallic or black?

Ha Ha GS. Get that snow shovel out. Welcome to my world. Hmmm Rockfish and Spot . You Must be near the Chesapeake Bay area. Years back, used to pack 2 kick-n scream-n sprats into a small car and drive to Falls Church VA to see relatives of my wife. Saw the Chesapeake Bay around Havre de Grace, MD. During that stretch while dodging air born legos and my little pony's, I thought to myself that this would be the perfect place to live. Next lifetime.. 20' boat and live near the Chesapeake!

That wellcraft is a nice boat GS. Perfect size. Wish I could afford a larger 20 foot EdgeWater CC. Sometimes it gets a little hary out at Monemoy on the Cape in an 18'8" boat. The cover comes apart by removing 10 or so screws and I'll store in the garage for next fall set up. I store the boat next to the garage but like you, still go out and clear the snow off the very top. Not alot of snow here in MA this year but very very windy. Hey GS, just 2 months till the season starts. Best

Appreciate your comment GS. If you have suggestions, feel free to send them along. The cover project is a source of fun for me. If you have a covered boat, would like to see pics on how you handle it. Like anything, it takes more time to make the 1st one. Spring break down will be 1 hr. and fall set up will the same. It's holding up to 50 MPH wind gusts and everything else this N E winter has dished out. Wish it shed snow better off the very top. Over all, couldn't be happier. Best PP

all the snowy tree videos made me super homesick, but the boat structure is amazing! much more complicated then i thought it would be. it almost looks like you built a whole baot on top of youe boat!! nice work pops!

Thanks for stopping by Phy! Maybe a little over the top but very happy to have rescued this old piece of equiptment. I sand blasted the chassie and then used epoxy to fill in all the pitted spots. About 3 coats of primer and then about 5 coats of matallic paint. Sparkles like a gem. With the electrical work my friend Tyler Drabick did, both Leslie amp and C3 organ sound just fantastic.
