We have stretched many meals with Sauerkraut and Weiners (we added potatoes also). Also they all loved my baked beans and weiners. Wish those meals agreed with our 75 & 81 year old tummies now. lol. Love ya lots and God bless yall❣️

Tiff,I love carrots cooked or raw,i love raw carrots dipped in buttermilk ranch dressing and they are good for your eyes!

Have you ever had creamed carrots? You do them exactly like creamed corn, butter, milk, flour to thicken and salt and pepper. They are so good. Anytime I was going to eat with Granny, and she would ask what I wanted, creamed carrots was always on the top of the list.

I remember my mama canning as a kid. Her canner broke somehow and never got another. I would love to learn how.

Ooo how good would that be for thanksgiving with a gingerbread or spice cake instead of chocolate, and then some crushed toffee bits! Or shaved white chocolate! You could really make it for any season though... for spring... strawberry cake with strawberry syrup! I LOVE those types of recipes where you can change it up so easily!
