Typically when Christmas rolls around every year, I always want to do some sort of Christmas cover. I'm pretty sure it's been a while since that has actually happened, and I usually end up taking the holidays off. This year, when I tried to plan content, something felt right about covering a worship song for Christmas, rather than a traditional Christmas song. I think I had the idea to cover this a couple months ago as I was trying to fall asleep, and I really wanted to make my own version of this song. The music team at my church wrote this song earlier in the year, and it's been such a powerful song, and we've played it a bunch in services, but again, I thought it'd be fun to do my own version of it. It's honestly mostly the same, the only major differences are towards the end of it. I had tons of fun making this one, and I hope that this video serves as a reminder to all my fellow Christ followers that Christmas isn't just about gifts or festivities, it's about Jesus!
