What if there is no "WiFi interface"? My WiFi "switch" is completely blacked out, can't switch it on, can't create a "new service" because WiFi isn't there to select?

you can check your router page for DHCP settings and then set the IP on your device or try calling your internet service provider or the router company.

I tried this by the subnet mask and router are empty (no numbers) so it’s still not connecting. I have no idea what I need to add there…
pls chk your router page and go into wifi DHCP settings. there you will find a range of IP address. choose a ip between that range and enter it into your device ip settings. let me know.
I have the yellow icon but there is no value in ip address or subnet mask or router what to do
you can set it manually after checking your router page DHCP settings or try calling your internet service provider.

Hi Rishabk wonder if u can help... no icon of wifi i go into system preferences clicked on network then wifi then clicked minus thinking i remove it and start a new one but now the interface doesnt give me the option for wifi anymore dont know what to do to bring it up again...
try restarting your mac and router. are you using wifi dongle?

It happens again after 10 seconds. New IP's assigned automatically and manually. Even tho I have ethernet. If I switch to Wifi it still happens. the DNS PROBE ERROR NO INTERNET is gone but the someone is using your IP still happens.ss
check the router page to see if any device is already using your ip. (they might have manually configured that ip)

all devices must have a unique IP address. also check your router page to see if any other device has same IP
