Thanks. I simply give a shout out thanks for where I found the info. There's no way for me to know for sure who the very first to find was and there's zero intent on my part to recognize anyone as such (unless confirmed) with the exception of Japan Rainbow where I happen to have been involved day 1 when it was found and posted first in the official discord and in that case I did call out first to find specifically. Only other would be if I happened to see the new location posted and confirmed in official trophy gallery and the author listed in the resource hub as a source. Otherwise I'm simply thanking people who helped with my research for the video, not proclaiming someone world first to find a spot. Not my place to do that, it is up to the official discord for that. Hope that makes sense.

I actually started working on that one last night. It will probably be my next diamond guide posted.

My apologies I am not sure what to tell you. Mine was 50/50 and after adding the one I was missing I now show 51/51. Only thing I can think of is double check everything on my map versus yours.

Legends are always active 24 hours. No different behavior for this one based on time of day that I have seen so far.

@@thephantomshark Good I'll try another time. I should have just been using the 4/0 because I had to spend 15 minutes fighting one of them biggest fish on the Japan map. for a damned silver. pfft. lol

Yep my choice of hook wasn't an accident. I was aiming for the best shot to avoid other fish and it's a Taimen hotpot. Even still a 4/0 could easily hook a big Taimen there. Fishing for Goto is going to require significant strategy to avoid other fish in the area. Another option would be to go to the other end of the spectrum and use a 10.

@@thephantomshark yup and according to the chart a 4/0 could get a gold OR diamond Taimen there. weird...unless its a color typo. Anyway, I gave it a break and came back for Larry who wasn't biting earlier but this time I got him first cast. I have decent gear and 44 pound test with that feeder rig and his fight was 11 minutes. Recently got a couple diamond lake trouts pretty easily with the same 44 pound test on my jig rig. Absolutely loving the game, I'm a long time Hunter:COTW player and this is even better. I need to get back to missions and stuff to get my rep and coins up. I need a couple better reels. I know I got Larry, La manstreca and Ill get the Goto, but the other two may be too big for my current setups. unless i want a 90 minute fight. Last week was my first attempt at these legendaries and I got all 4. I just started this game 3 weeks ago...and over the last 2 days I downloaded all the maps and a lot of 2 dollar DLC. I'm mildly addicted. Thanks for what you do. much appreciated sir.

That's because Taimen don't have a dedicated diamond hook. You can definitely catch the other two on the level 35 baitcasting gear (55 pound). Congrats on the legends and you're very welcome. Glad I could be a small help to you enjoying the game as much as I do.

Apears to have gotten some adjustment as I caught golds longer than my previous diamonds.

Also FYI was in chat with others testing same concept of gold hook on holders and they were getting good results as well. It definitely works.

Well you may want to watch my Cherry Salmon Diamond Guide that will be released tomorrow assuming I survive the night with 5 legends including a new one first time LOL. Exactly as I suspected it worked well for me. Some fish will have a better gold hit rate but I was happy with my results considering Cherry is not one I can gold hook and will be including rod holder gold hook hits in the montage.

@@thephantomshark nice, yeah I gold hook cherries with a 2/0 but still have to plow silvers before hand. I found koi/magoi really good so far for using 3 rods. I always like you're videos. You rule dude 😎

There was a bug that happened if you fast traveled to the Big Hole in Africa right after it was released. It sent you to Japan and unlocked the first point immediately. I thought mine was fine but another comment pointed out I was missing the Railside Fishing Area. Now mine says 51/51. Far right side of the map find Asirpa's Path and then follow the railroad track to the left under the lake and it will unlock.

You can only catch her when she is active. There is only one active at a time and this week is still Goldstein. Watch my channel for the location videos each week they are posted by Thursday. Reset is Wednesday nights at 10 PM Eastern USA so I will be posting a new one some time tonight.
