making a dark hiphop beat from scratch
If you make trap beats then this challenge should be easy 👌🏾
Bruh
🔥🔥
How did you split the stems?
I used moises.ai
Its simple but it has emotion. Good work i like
definitely alot of improvement to be done with drums, but that piano melody was nice
agreed drums are lacking but the piano was sweet sounding
wouldn't uploading this to beatstars just essentially put a copyright strike on this video in the future? great video btw, love the workflow :)
Hey can you pls make a video on explaining how to use some free or paid VSTS by spitfire labs ?? Like it’s so crazy VSTS So if you Than I will love to watch that because I struggle with that vst like idk how to use it fully So this way you can get the content and I can get the deeper understanding of that VST Like if you ever want Btw lots of love from this side From India 🇮🇳💕✨
rewatching this, I wish the mixing segment was expanded an playing at normal speed. I'm very interested in your approach to mixing as your results always sound very nice even after yt's compression. I noticed that you're doing HP filtering on most tracks, and I heard somewhere that could cause phase issues so I tried to stop doing it everywhere, but it's hard to keep the low-end become muddy and busy without it. What are your thoughts?
Awesome! What hind of piano preset from Arturia are you using? Is this Piano V?
Yep..... I like it........ I was Going to send you a track i was struggling to complete but then i worked on it a bit more and figured it out. Its still not complete but closer to the finishing point. Ive been putting a lot of pressure on myself to finish all the music i have started but im still learning so ive decided to just have fun with it . I used to DJ so ive bought a drum machine (MPC) so it feels more like a performance rather than sitting in front of the computer. Cheers mate. Keep it up. ♥
❤
Loved it. Love the learning ❤
i'm looking for a keyboard and mouse for my home studio, i liked yours, what model?
my keyboard is the akko 5075, the mouse is a logitech G305
That sounds lovely burning smoky with a touch of sparkles, and sweetness😘😁
you just perfectly described her voice, inadvertently
@@StanleyKubick1 Yes I do have ears that hear a lot and see a lot so was definitely not inadvertent when I say she is smoking hot🤩 does that answer your question, kuBick?
The music is incredible!!
The melody is so catchy, I love it. Sounds very Chillstep-ish. And again, I don't know if you did this on purpose but at this speed 5:17 - 5:22 is also sounds great! I'd love to hear your stuff.
Best one fr
thank you for that lesson, great result. Transition between the sections could be made smoother but otherwise really really great ✌
thank you!! next time I'll do a 5 tracks challenge so I can include transitions as well eheh
Your music is beautiful and you're quickly becoming one of my favorite music production UA-camrs! Is there any chance in future videos you could go into a little more detail? As someone who's learning, it would be really helpful to know which presets/instruments you're using and also to hear more about the musicality like which chords you're using and your thought process on how you landed on a specific key, chord progression and melody for example! Thanks keep it up!!
thank you so much! <3 you're right, I would have liked to see things more in detail too when I was just starting out, now I do stuff without thinking that's why I don't stop to talk about chords and and musicality. But I surely will make a video with a more in depth explanation
Well I can do only 16 max tracks and have to layer in instrument rack. So a good challenge for me
When I was starting out with Ableton Live I only had Ableton Live Lite which limits you to 8 tracks. Having that limitation made me learn so many creative ways of using Ableton Live that I wouldn't have taken the time to learn otherwise. Chain selection, racks, modulation clips, etc... Good job on the song. Now it just needs the reese. :)
so true! we need to challenge ourselves more often. Thank you! I added the reese in the end, coudn't resist eheheh
all my unfinished beats have 4 tracks, maybe I should release them and call it a challenge?
you totally should
I love this your beat I am use FL studio
You Are My Feborit Music Composer, i Learn More Settings in Your Videos, Thanks Dear...
It has a lot of possibilities but is fine the way it is as a good tune should be😉 You could add more parts or a hook part in there somewhere to make it even more memorable and increase playbacks if that is your intention, as a guitarist, I can say without doubt a fancy guitar part would fit in there, but I would always think that😄 It will be interesting to see what you decide to do with it maybe you will make a follow-up video on it. Good to see you feeling better you look great😊
Pretty smooth ))
4:45-5:02 this for some reason is 🔥!!! reminds me of the nightcore crabcore era
@@SheetFiber I will make a sped up version then
@itsblank66 awesome!
Very Cool .
Hey. I read an other guy. Is it really possible you take a look on my track to ? I m not professional !!!!
If my future kids ask me for advice, I'll be telling them to find someone who looks at them like BLANK66 looks at the Reese Bass.
😂😂😂
I love this. how can i send you a track im working on. just learning. Looking forward to the next chapter. when you speed up your videos , you could almost make that into another production. Keep it up mate....
send me an email, I’m happy to listen! thank you 🫶🏻
Love the final result, mad cool 😎

This is really dope.
🙂
I would delay the snare by 1/64 so it gives it more feel
nice shit!
thank you 🫶🏻
u don't need AI backup, your voice is velvet and sounds better on its own. using AI opens u up to copyright strikes in the future, and u will regret it.
thank you for the compliment! but I don't agree, it really depends on what service you use, if the AI platform has licensed vocals (like Audimee) you won't have any problems or copyrights strikes.
Angelina Jolie
hello! love your videos so much as an aspiring female producer 🫶🫶 what daw do you recommend for a beginner on a budget? But something a bit more professional than garage band or bandlab?
yeah female producers for the win 🫶🏻 Ableton is my favorite but if you are on mac Logic is another great option
@@itsblank66 thank you!
what is this DAW ? I'm trying to get into production i'm a musician and I want to produce my own music, I do beatboxing also so, need to learn about mixing and mastering.
It's Ableton Live 12, I personally love it but there's lots of DAWs out there
fl studio is also good, doesn't really matter as long as you start with one stick with it
@@crimsnblade8555 so true
Your voice is absurdly beautiful
good stuff there
Amazing raw vocals for the hook and beat 🙌 Keept it up!
How do you handle splice loops? do you chop them or otherwise alter them. While they are royalty-free if someone else uses the same unaltered one it can lead to problems I have seen. Any potential AI voice issues I have no idea about at this point but I know services that process know tunes and produce similar ones can cause problems as well, potentially. I would try this as a way to build a tune and maybe replace it with a live singer at some point if it is good enough, then again if I could get the voice to really sing why bother, like I always say life is like a remix anything is possible. Your tune has some interesting lyrics and a good flowing melody and beat so you never know, thanks for your musical insight and the daw, and glad you are feeling better 😘
happy you like it! regarding splice loops, it depends on the beat, most of the times I alter them in some way, but I also just use them as they are if I really like the sample! never had problems with them honestly. also, Audimee only has licensed vocals so you won’t have problems with those either!
Love it.......Glad you feeling better...... I,m trying to make a track with a video i have of my Dad. its hurting my brain trying to figure it all out...
😔🫶🏻
nice beat!✨
Also, stereo is an expensive format for your ears, make the beat in mono and only listen to it in stereo when it's cooked.
Your eyes peek at 16. Make music you listened to when you were 16.
trying to buy a beat that you took down, if you could just please respond and let me purchase for my mixtape.. its the adele “home” beat, if you could put it back up on beatstars so i can purchase that’ll be lovely.. i really want it on my mixtape !! thanks
No answers from you? Hmmmm....
