Keep in mind, this is modern day Africa, and these families are proud to have been a part of it and revered by their community for it, to this day.......you are an idiot and a woke moron. This whole building is a monument to "wokeness" and its disgusting. My next case in point is the very next room walked into, with a song that is supposed to be the collective voice for "mahogany trees".......I am not kidding. I swear to God, if I make my way and walk into a building in the UK that has any sort of slavery BS or woke crap, I will leave in a heartbeat. In fact, I am planning a trip and will make sure to get virtual tours of the places beforehand, so I can screen myself from any propaganda. Thank you for that insight!

4:16, I find it interesting that they English find it necessary to talk about their involvement in the slave trade, but their treatment of the Irish goes unmentioned. Arguably, a slave that money was spent on, that has a function in your household, is worth more than the peasant who is struggling to get by, using your land, occupying your buildings, feeding his family from your land and all of that, that is why England has treated the Irish and Scottish so poorly. Lets not forget that millions of Irish died because of the English during this time simply for being "poor Irish". That is certainly worse than being kept in chains. Death is always worse than imprisonment, even if imprisonment is for life, you are still alive. Those that thought differently could have changed that situation. (this means, if you think death is better, kill yourself) So sick of everything revolving around the Africans, who rounded up their own kin to be sold as slaves, when they were technologically inferior, not able to cope with outsiders, when we forget the people not involved in any of that that died as a result. Yes, slavery is bad, but every person alive has a relative who went through it, and quite frankly, descendants of slaves should be grateful that they were slaves instead of being a poor person in a society that used slaves. Slaves were a valuable good, poor non slaves just took up space.
