There's nothing more permanent than a quick fix.
Naming things is arguably the hardest part of software development. Also, there's nothing more permanent than temporary fixes 😂
Sounds like a program we all need.
Great story man😂

What happened to Oscar in the 29th minute?
His camera stopped working, but fortunately, he managed to get it back on at 31:16 :)
Tester's are own worst enemies when it comes to classification and definition of terms. The taxonomy used in Software Testing is at times just insane. Always someone who comes up with a new term or redefines one so they can sound like the smartest person in the room.
Can I able to create network folder watcher with Azure Container Apps Jobs? But I don't CHRON function to check after every specific time. Need to trigger event whenever there are any new file in the network folder.
Is there a way to run this mapped with test plans?
I wanted to understand about required modifier. This video helps. Surprised to see such low views.
We are happy that it helped you 😃
*Note: The issue at 25:00 can be resolved by using a diagnosticId without dashes.
Currently switching to F# myself. Breath of fresh air - brings fun and elegance back into programming. Was just watching a guy from Jane Street argue that ML languages are unusually versatile - they can be used for everything from throwaway scripts to 1million line trading systems. With this maturing ecosystem, F# really is becoming a do-everything language.
Interesting stuff!
I'm always polite with ChatGPT - to keep it from associating my input with training data from Twitter and the likes.
Strategic politeness!
can you share demo file for recording Video including attach results to release pipeline
'PromoSM'
Is this project on Github maybe?
Rick. What is a Repsonse? ;)
It's a very special type of Response 😜
I managed to get this running. I now have 5 audio output files. Thanks for the demo.
Well done! Glad to see more people experimenting with this resource. I feel it's quite undervalued, even by Microsoft itself.
Thanks for the overview and I wish you talked about Fabulous
Great quick overview guys - thanks!
thanks for the extremely helpful video. The playwright steps in the pipeline saved my day.
Is there away to pass the secret group to the dockerfile so as we can use it at run time ?
When using a variable group inside a job, the individual variables and secrets will be available for use. You can use these variables in all kinds of ways. In this case you could pass the variable on to the docker build by using build arguments. docker build --build-arg arg=$MY_PIPELINE_VARIABLE .
Awesome! I didn't see this yet, thx!
Does either c# or c++ work with digital twin development, or do I specifically need to learn JSON?
Thank you for your question. Defining the contracts for the models is currently only possible by writing JSON. The documentation has some good examples that might help you on your way, you can find it here: docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/digital-twins/concepts-models. After building your contracts in JSON you can do the rest via the browser or with the support of C# NuGet Packages.
How does this compare to just making an Azure Functions REST API
There are some differences between the two. For instance, as far as deployment goes minimal APIs can leverage memory cache and always on. The execution model is different too; where Functions are more opinionated but reduce the need for boilerplate code, minimal APIs provide more control while not providing things like triggers and bindings. For a detailed discussion we would like to invite you to our Discord channel: discord.com/invite/KTkCXQTgjR

I am able to run from pipeline the tests, but one step is fail, the pipeline does not stopr just after the run timeout run . so the test execution step is fail Terminate batch job (Y/N)? ##[error]The operation was canceled. Finishing: CmdLine but the pipeline is continue what is the problem? Could you help me pls?
Azure policy Lab session Plz do.
Can't wait to try this on my next assignment. I always use Nunit for uitesting because is has a testcontext which xunit has not.
There is this tool "Maui check" that helps install all necessary dependencies
Since the recording of this episode, Azure Functions supports running production applications in .NET 5!
Hi, good introduction to Azure functions. Especially DI part.

How does gRPC compare to SignalR, what are the differences and their specific usecases?
Hi Jan, this will probably shed some light: "Broadcast real-time communication - gRPC supports real-time communication via streaming, but the concept of broadcasting a message out to registered connections doesn't exist. For example in a chat room scenario where new chat messages should be sent to all clients in the chat room, each gRPC call is required to individually stream new chat messages to the client. SignalR is a useful framework for this scenario. SignalR has the concept of persistent connections and built-in support for broadcasting messages."
