Enduro:
If you have never done an enduro here is a great general idea from Liv "In general, modern enduro races involve anywhere from 3-6 timed stages. The timed portions of the race are mostly downhill but can vary in steepness, length, and difficulty depending on location. Between each stage, there will be untimed transfer stages that are mostly uphill."
Cross country:
A cross country race is typically a mixture of uphill and downhill where you are being timed from start to end. Racers primarily ride dirt trails in forested sections of the woods. These races typically start and end at the same place which is usually a field or park which we call the staging area. These races can be anywhere from 1 lap to 5 lap and up to 100 miles long depending on your category.
