You can change the weapon spawn settings but this will also change the mob setting as well. The weapon and mobs are split into 4 tiers, normally its set to dynamically progress as you go through the maps. You can set it to Tier 4 from the start by going from the main menu > Project Brutality > Spawn Settings > Global Spawn rules. You can also disable certain tier mobs and weapons in the Spawn settings > Customise monster \ weapon spawns.

I dont have a device to play with but I have seen some videos \ posts of people getting GZdoom on the Steam deck and playing with doom mods. So it looks possible, search for doom mods on steam deck.

Yes makes it very easy but after you complete them on normal mode its fun to just run and gun your way through.

lol there is a mod called H Doom .... I have seen it but never played it. You have to blur it to get it on youtube!

I did a previous setup video that is linked in the description. That can still be used but the only difference is to use all the mods in the Mega download link that is also in the description. You just need to add all the mods from the download into the mod folder. All the active ones I used are in the description and in the same order that I used. CatsVisor is the only separate download and is also optional, I use that only for the mini map on the HUD. If you have trouble with it then I might do another quick setup video.

@@roxdrum3164 No problem glad you got it working. If you are using the latest Steam version of Doom then both Plutonia and TNT evilution are included. They are IWAD files and can both be found in your Steam directory - \Steam\steamapps\common\Doom 2\finaldoombase. You should see both PLUTONIA.WAD & TNT.WAD in that directory. Select them on the IWAD part of doom runner (copy the .WAD files into the folder with the others that Doomrunner is looking at). They are compatible with all the mods but not the mapsofchaos map pack, so make sure you dont select any map packs before running.

Scythe has been suggested to me recently. I did a quick test and it looks to work fine so it will be the next one I go through.

The Project Brutality & Brutal doom mods both run on a different port engine to what the console version uses. I dont think there is a way to get them working on consoles unfortunately, if anyone finds a way then I will share it.

Yes lots of great weapons and little touches in this mod. I don’t always catch them when playing but pick some up during the editing and posting of vids.

Hi, for both runs I used the latest Master version available at the time. My second run through I used a number of different Audio & visual mods alongside it. I'm not the biggest fan of the glory kill system in PB so I turn off the indicators for it in settings.

@@magnusgaming82 man Civvie 11 was right about that level. It puts people on edge and might be the closets thing to a survival horror map.

It doesn't look to in the original so down to the HD texture mods I'm using, not noticed it anywhere else yet. Its that fireblue texture that was in the later levels of the original doom 2.
