Easy and safe way to land a Hung Branch or Limb
Hurricane Milton blew off a large oak tree limb on the morning of Oct 10, 2024. The problem is the limb didn't fall completely, but part was hung on the trunk and the other end was balanced on its branches. It was too dangerous to attempt sawing from the bottom, because the limb moved whenever I touched the branches. Here is a demonstration of how to pull the limb down safely, so it will not fall on anybody.

Easy and safe way to clean car floor mats
Переглядів 1,8 тис.7 років тому
Use a leaf blower to remove particles from car floor mats, area rugs, or welcome mats. Aerodynamic flutter does the hard work, so you won't get dusty and tired ! In the past, people used rug beaters to do this. But that is inefficient and dirty. The air stream from my leaf blower shakes the rug about 180 times per minute, so it is an order of magnitude faster than a rug beater.

Easy and safe way to break a tire bead
Переглядів 4 млн8 років тому
Use just two common garage tools to unseat even the most stubborn tire beads. Seriously easy, and won't damage your wheel ! People have asked why I went through so much trouble to just save $22 per tire mounting. Simply, it is because the shop workers don't use care while installing. They had previously scratched my hubcaps and wheels, lost custom valve caps, and incorrectly balanced new tires....

Looks like a Chevrolet truck rim

  • @boknows3841

You can't do it with rubber band tires because you have to have a special tire machine just to get the tire off of the rims and and a screwdriver is not going to do it anymore.

Great problem-solving skills! But the tread condition @4:55 looks a bit disconcerting, considering you only put these on 2 wks ago. Or do you sell used cars too? 😉

Are you kidding me! I feel dumb after watching this video. I have beat, stomped, lit them in fire and everything you can think of, and now I see this because I have been hammering in one for two hours. About to try it.

Ty, this works great... with some small changes. i had to use 2 wratchet straps, and i had to put my tractor bucket on top to hold the tire down. with that i was able to take off a truck tire :) i tried a bottle jack, even tried using my tractor bucket to press it off, but this worked the best by far.

This method to breaking a tire down is total BS everybody else don't try this because you will end up getting hurt the ratchet strap can't hold the tire on the jack

Just FYI, Harbor Freight sells a "bead breaker" tool for $40 that works great on most tires. This method might be necessary for truly larger tires over 285 width.

This method seems safe. I’ve seen several videos and all of them seem kind of dangerous. I am gonna try this. Gotta take out a tpms sensor and put in a regular stem. Tired of the slow leak.

    • @auxpowerunit
      @auxpowerunit 4 місяці тому

The strap I used is an old, cheap, 15-year-old Harbor Freight strap. Any decent one will work, as there will be less than 400 pounds of tension on the strap. Home Depot and Amazon's websites list those as "Ratchet Tie-Down Straps".🙂

You made this video 7 years ago and it's still helping people to this day. I had been struggling for hours to break the bead of my motorcycle tire before I found this video. I only had two spoons to work with instead of the preferred three. This method made it child's play.
