Eurasian Woodcock released
An Eurasian Woodcock was found in a garage in Dubai on October 8th, and released in the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve on October 9th. It flew strongly away after release.

This species was labelled Royal Farlowella Whiptail Catfish (Sturisoma sp) in my LFS here in Dubai, UAE. Need help in identifying it. Great algae-eaters, went to town on my brown algae (brown diatoms). Have not seen them touch red bloodworms, which is devoured by my three Red Lizard Whiptail Catfish, Rineloricaria sp.

They are social fish and get to be 2-2.5in, I would recommend not.
That was maybe courtship not mating.
