Music was good, but there was a few moments of just standing there clashing the weapons and then the ending was weird like yeah crow reacts to everything like he's a professional huntsman and then he doesn't react on time fot that cut? Its not like that wooden rubble was crazy or anything, he had more then enough time to to react too. Volume 4 had this one fight and it was after Monty died like kinda right after, but man they really didn't understand the mechanics of a fight.

I like the fact that if you slow down and look carefully you can see Raven holster her katana each time she changes the blade for it, it's for like a split second, but nonetheless is pretty cool.

I actually think this may be the last good fight in the show, despite the issues present.

One thing I don't like is Ruby getting involved, learning that in a fight on Qrow and Tyrian's level she is outmatched, and still trying to be involved instead of backing off, potentially distracting Qrow. As a Huntress, she should know that sometimes, two people vs one just serves to hinder the pair and give the advantage to the person who doesn't have to worry about collateral damage.

I think Qrow might've been able to win this fight even without Ruby. Both of their auras were low/breaking and with Qrows semblance it would've must likely gone bad for tyrian just like right here 2:09, slip ups like that were most likely gonna give Qrow an opening to finish the fight. Then again I guess Qrow's aura was broken by the time he got sliced Edit: I thought semblances can't work without aura but I forgot the reason he needed to save Ruby was because Misfortune is always active

Ruby's idiocy baffles me. Tyrion was literally toying with you when you fought, and when you tried to snipe him you couldn't even keep up with Qrow and him. Why are you jumping back into the fight when you KNOW you will only hinder Qrow. Forgetting his semblance if he has to defend you, he is limited in what he can do. So stay back and just be fire support.

To this day, this is still the best maiden v maiden fight

I'm so mad at this in hindsight right now for the dumbest reasons! I used to write a RWBY fanfic series and the narrative I was always told by the community is that you need a weapon to use your Aura through. So Qrow punching Tyrian made 'sense' to them for that logic because he was 'using aura in his rings'. But he hits him with his left hand, which doesn't have any rings at all! Those losers just made that crap up and passed it off as gospel!!! What the crap?!?! Also, I'm just now realizing Ruby had her aura up the entire time! She would have been completely fine if the building fell on her, we've literally seen characters live through worst than that and she's got like 5 superpowerful Huntsmen right there outside of the fight that could have easily dug her out. The way this plays out actually doesn't even make sense with the power system the series sets up, Qrow should have warned her and then ordered her friends to help fish her out after getting Tyrian away from them. Still a cool fight, but holy crap...

Even to this day, this scene is still one of my favorite fight scenes in RWBY. This was the best thing to come out of V5. Tbh, it was stupid to SEEMINGLY kill off Cinder without any hints that she survived only to find out at the beginning of V6 that she indeed survived. That's probably just me because that's not how I would write a series. Although I'm curious as to how it would go if Cinder post V8 fought Raven again, especially since she seemingly learned her lesson on how to be smart with her decisions. I'm probably unintentionally jinxing it but I hope Rooster Teeth doesn't retcon this in the future.
