    Hey There, Just curious to know if you could e-mail a copy of your chart, I would love to use it to chart my losses. I am going in for my VSG Sept, 14,2014 I have already done my measurements prior to the pre surgery diet, starting the liquid 3 days prior to surgery. I am so excited.

    So glad you are back to doing your updates, we are sleeve sister's,I'm 5 weeks out too! You are doing so well! So proud of you! If you look at VSG Hopes video's I think she uses Mane and Tail. I would look her video up that talks about hair loss. I also take 5000 units of Biotin a day to help minimize hair loss. I was hoping you could convert your Kg to U.S. Lbs (pounds). I just started converting my numbers to Kg as well. I'm so glad you are back! You are one of my favorites! Have a wonderful weekend!!

    Hey Peta, i use Kerastase Bain stimuliste it's energising shampoo targeting thinning hair. I started using it just before the op and I haven't noticed any more hair fall then normal for me. You'll definitely get in in Aussie as I can get it here in NZ.

    29.7 pounds! We can google it, no worries! So awesome, you're doing an amazing job, so proud of you! I so agree that measurements are important, to the point where I hardly watched the scale, I watched my inches and my clothes. INCHES matter... no one is going to look at you and say you look like you lost 2.4lbs. They're going to say you look THINNER cause you lost INCHES.

    so cool to see such a major change so soon!

  • @BigVigil
    @BigVigil 10 років тому

    Great to see your before photo, awesome progress, I definitely see the changes. As the weight starts falling away your blood sugar should stabilise which should help with the shaking. You will learn how to deal with eating out, I basically order one thing and take half of it home in a doggie bag.

    I just love you! You are amazing and you are going to do wonderful! I'm glad you got your answers from your Doctor.I have to wait for 4 weeks post op before I see the Doctor and I have so many questions too! I just had my 2 week post op Monday, and my problem is I can't get enough soft foods in. I can only eat about 1-2 tablespoons at a time. When the food hits my sleeve it hurts and feels like the food is stuck. I can drink my fluids fine, which is good. I really relate to you a lot and you have the best personality! I forgive you for not converting to pounds!! LOL!!

  • @harrydracogirl1989
    @harrydracogirl1989 10 років тому

    Oh honey yes! I'm glad he put your mind to rest. I was going to say, I worried about the same thing. Then I started soft food. Ooooooh yeah, you'll feel the restriction when you start actual food. :) Do go out, just go with a soup. Minestrone should be fine as the pasta and veggies in it will be super soft and mushy. :) If anyone asks (if you're not wanting to talk about your surgery) just tell them you're getting over a stomach flu so you're taking it easy. :)

    Sounds like you got some really sound advice from your surgeon. With the birthday dinner, I agree it may be an emotional experience, but something that gets easier each time. My suggestion would be to find out beforehand if they have soup on the menu. Then you could just sit out the entree course and have some water, until you get to the main course and order the soup for that meal. Sip slowly and you'll be fine. They may even have something soft you can then have for dessert, and you could just share one with your fiancé :)

    Keep up the good work! I'm one day a head of you and you are like robo healer!! I wish I was, I'm struggling with real bad incision pain. I'm bruised all over the place. Ugh! I would love if you would convert your numbers to American or whatever you call it! I'm going to start putting mine in Metrics soon. Since you have World wide viewers!! Happy Days!

    I have a French Bougie size 36 according to my surgeons report. Hopefully the scaring will be ok, it looks very minimal at the moment. I will just have to worry about the stretch marks and the burn I have on my stomach I got from the scalding pasta water 2months back. I like to think that the carbs finally got me lol.

  • @optimisticsuzie888
    @optimisticsuzie888 10 років тому

    Wow, that's weird about your restriction hey? Do you know what size bougie you had? I suppose its good that you are a fast healer, you will have less ugly scarring unlike me with me horrible keyloid scars from lapband surgery and soon to be more after my sleeve. Glad you are doing well :)

    I find, I enjoy food more now. Because you can only eat small amounts, you savour what you do eat.
