Trask Heavy Breather for your Harley Davidson Road Glide. This is a easy upgrade.
Quick and to the point install. The Harley heavy breather was large and in the way of my leg. I was looking to upgrade and add some comfort. Mission accomplished.

That nice black top will eventually go silver as your boots wear away the finish. Guess you can always get them powder coated when that happens.
Dude what happened to you? It's been 8 months since your last video.. you ok?
What floor board are those
hey bud. is that the shortened brake arm or the standard size? im over 6ft was wondering which one i should go with...
Who makes that hat you are wearing?
My bike is 2022 street glide ST~~ Very nice to see you~ Please let me know where can i buy it.
That unburned oil in your throttle body is a perfect example why you need a catch can. Watch DK Performance Products videos to find out how important that is.
Are the SE Öhlins the same length as the stock shock?
Well done!
Wishd ida seen this before I ripped the connectors off.. f*cked myself hard, but ill just have to fix it. Say a prayer bros
Thanks for the video I just put my SE Suspension on with your help much appreciated
Drop an end of a string (550 cord) from the top of the fender through the hole. Attach seat bolt by threading the string/cord through and tying a square knot. Pull seat bolt up through hole.
it was painful to watch him doing it lmao....string 123 ....i usually tie a nut to the string an drop it out after install
Love the video! Do you have an email or a social media account that i could reach out to you on?
Any issues with that backwards cotter pin?
No issues with the pin. Thanks for the Sub! I'll have new stuff coming out soon. I was transferred and all my goodies have been packed up. Cheers
You can leave the original seat mount on. Just in case you ever want to run the solo seat
Damn dude! I was just thinking about the solo seat and now I don’t have the mounting hardware. Thanks for the heads up.
I'm in the same seat situation. So are you saying just put the nuts back on the original bolts and throw the new seat on over top of them and that's alright?
Did you have to extend anything else to make these work?
Did you have to tune it after installing the new breather?
Notice any change in performance or mileage at all?
Thanks, looks easy enough, will probably get one.
Did it come with a spacer when you got rid of the heel shifter?
I have a 22 SGS and the spacer is stock.
Whats your t-bar setup?
With the new bar installed, if I were to use these as highway bars how much reach am I losing or gaining? I am 6' and like to use the highway pegs on stock bars to stretch out on long rides
The owner of Caliraised is a convicted pedophile........
I have the Santoro crashbar on my Road King Special and I am going back to the stock chopped engine guard. The Santoro crash bar sits higher and therefore if your bike goes over, floorboards and controls will be severely damaged. Also, quality control is lacking on the Santoro Crash Bar. Threaded ends need to be chased by a tap and the bolt poles that mount to the frame are way too large. The powdercoat was cloudy as well. Very disappointing for costing $400+ bucks.
So I'm assuming this will be a suspension upgrade over the 24 Glide suspension...? I was under the impression the 24's have much better suspension than other years. In any case what is the PN# for that kit ...? Thanks
Very ingenious workaround brother. Thanks for sharing. How do you like the seat after having it for a riding season or so? Break in period time? Are you still using it? How’s the passenger comfort? Sorry I send this message 2 minutes before you addressed my questions haha. Passenger comfort good tho?
I've since learned that you use a long zip tie to feed the nut into the hole. 🤣The seat is still very comfortable as far as passenger my wife hasn't been on yet. Cheers and thanks for watching.
@@bangbangbikergang5052 appreciate it
how wide is the front crash bar with the derlin sliders attached?
From houston area? every check out WarBros Racing in Conroe? Josh is a good friend.
SEM Solve is my go-to on all sticky stuff!
The problem I see is on the rear set up that its not bolted to the bottom bar for rigidity… Since it slides on the lower bar, it’s a no go for me, even though it’s a beefier bar… Doesn’t matter the bolted, lower bar gives it resistance from going back or forward… Ain’t Vibin with it need to change the design… That’s my opinion…period
harley's version uses the same method. just slides over the lower bag support.
@@ryanridesmoore I’ll try again… Santoro’s guard does not have a bolt that goes through the bag mount portion… I know it slides over but the Harley version has the stabilizing bolt
@@jeffrobinson1184 i see. if you really wanted the santoro version i guess you could drill your own bolt. i got the Harley version (P/N 90202657). similar product and style for a lot less money.
I’m guessing I say goodbye to my highway pegs if I get this bar?
yup. but look into ciro floorboard mounts
@@ryanridesmoore Got a link?
What bars do you have on that road glide please? Look comfy
FXR division Motorwitch. yeah they are pretty comfy. It's the alternative to Tbars and a gauge relocation. Thanks for watching.
The external breather kit is a must. That oil on the inside of the glass drives me nuts. An don’t worry the filter turns a dark color pretty quickly or you can let the k&n filter kit with black oil.
I just got the same stuff. Do you see a big difference in the ez shift lever?
Absolutely. Less play and neutral is easier most of the time.
good video I run the same breather Trask makes some good stuff
Yeah they do. I have the Check M8 to throw on and going to get the external breather kit. Thanks for watching.
Watched. afew of your videos, they're good quality and interesting. Keep it up mate!
Thanks for watching. I'll try my best. I'm going to need another bike to continue making install videos. LOL Cheers
just wish the filter wasnt red
agree
Big fella on video number three I like the floorboards. I think I will be changing my shifter link keep the videos coming my brother.
Now you will get to enjoy seeing that excess oil through the clear cover and be in the market for a vented trans cover to avoid cleaning it all the time😅 ahhh the joys, if i change mine i will stick to something non transparent if you cant see it its not there Looks nice 🤙
Yeah no lie, lots oil for me. I did get the Check M8 but haven't installed it yet. I also might tty the external breather kit. Cheers and thanks for watching.
👍👍
🍺🍻👍
Also have these…. I’m the brightest vehicle on the road at all times now, they’re GLORIOUSLY bright ! Street signs look like they’re internally lit.
Hey brother dose that seat make you feel low to the ground i short thats why i ask that question ?
That’s a sweet fucking bike! I just put TABS on my Ultra Limited. Went with the 4.5 BAMS with the Zombies. Also trashed the OG header and installed a new TAB one as well. Digging your content!
Sounds great what kind of numbers?
I'll post it when I get them. He's talking 160 torque 150 HP. well see....
About as reliable as Bidenomics... still get gapped by a kid on a $700, 600 sport bike
Sounds amazing for such a beast!
Thanks, I can't wait to take it out!
Sounds good like a pig but what Harley you see in the Baja 1000 or the Dakar or...you don't like Chrysler, dodge, gmc, catalac and confederate motorcycle there's a wussies for scrypt reason for it.
I'm not catching what you're throwing down but thanks for watching.
Try not to take it personally just Harley once had a dirt bike till rice burners got the best of them type riders. Harley once had the outlaw biker image till the cartels showed me what's up, now anybody rides one and along with a tough guy image like putting on socks or something. I'm just wondering when is Harley and Harley riders gonna air something like it means something. More than imagery.
Does it do brake as well?
nice vid. I think I'm getting that with the ez shifter.
The left side heim joint should be on the back side of the linkage, not the front.
Dang you caugt it. I didn't know and was going over the instructions that night and noticed that I put it on wrong. Thanks for watching.
its easy to do. @@bangbangbikergang5052
