In no way i do hear any Kurt here. However, now that we know that Dave confirmed this song was "the last Nirvana song" they were working on, it seems it meant Nirvana was about to do something like AIC did before: To have 2 singers, or Dave would have contributed songs to a next album. Without a doubt for me, this song was 100% Dave's idea, it's quite obvious in every aspect of the song. But that means, hypothetically speaking, that Kurt was ready to give up his overwhelming position when it comes to Nirvana's creative process. Who knows, we'll never know. But i would have loved to see Nirvana offering a new album, where all its members had contributed with new songs and new lyrics. It would have given Nirvana a new breath of life, something like, as i say, a "Purple moment" (STP) for them. Nirvana always sounded so gloomy and "low vibe", i'm sure Dave and Krist would have helped a lot in that.

It seems like Nirvana would make a very satirical song, I think it fits with Kurt's acid humor, I can very well imagine everyone playing smiling pretending that everything is perfect,

@rainyeyesparty it was never supposed to be a Nirvana song. Much like Exhausted, the song was done at the last session with Krist as a Dave song just like Marigold the year prior. Kurt had no involvement in either.
@@letsgobluengold1027 All i wanted to know was if Kurt was involved at all in the creative process of the song so thanks for clearing that up, and just adding, they had no way of seeing the future so i'm guessing they were making those songs for the band they were currently in and had no plans of splitting up at the time, they had no way of knowing Kurt would end his life not so long after that session, so unlcess they were thinking of splitting up Nirvana, i doubt they were gonna scrap those songs for side projects, doesn't seem right for them to do that
